(Y/N) POV

Even though there is a possibility that Neptune would recover, there is another possibility that it wouldn’t happen. I didn’t want to take a risk and put Gamindustri back into another cycle of destruction. Is this the decision I want to make? Yes. I think that this will be the right choice. The council will understand right?

Maaya: “(Y/N)? What is your decision?”

I hesitated before answering.

(Y/N): “Permanent.”

Maaya: “Are you sure?”

(Y/N): “Yes.”

Maaya: “Okay, does everyone agree with the sentencing?”

The other councilmen nodded their heads and Maaya ended the meeting. Is it over? I got up from my seat and Ayu walked towards me.

Ayu: “Well, it’s over. You did it.”

(Y/N): “Yeah but I’m still wondering if I made the right choice or not.”

Ayu: “Don’t beat yourself up about it. To be honest, all of us have had times where we never knew if we made the right choice or not.”

(Y/N): “I guess.”

6 months later

It has been 6 months since Neptune was permanently not a CPU. Uzume had became Planeptune’s CPU and you can say that things have gotten better. Planeptune’s shares have been increased to the point it competes with Lastation. But I doubt they will be above Noire’s shares.

IDK POV

(Y/N) was sleeping in Noire’s bed. Noire was pulling another overnighter so she wasn’t with her. She was in her own little world until she felt something fall on her face and run down to her cheek. She didn’t pay any attention to it until it happened again. She slowly opened her eyes to see dull purple eyes staring back at her. Her eyes shot opened and there on top of her was Neptune holding a knife. She tried to get Neptune off of her but Neptune’s deadly grip held her in place.

Neptune: “Why? Why did you have to do this?”

Neptune’s voice wasn’t her usual cheerful tone. It was more homicidal and heartbroken. Not only that but the tears were blocking her eyes.

Neptune: “I thought that you loved? You lied. You didn’t love me from the beginning, did you? That’s why you decide to put me in that hellhole permanently? To get rid of me?”

(Y/N): “That’s not true! I once did love you! But all you did was betrayed me afterwards. You took me away from my friends and gave me these!”

(Y/N) pointed to the scars from the cuts Neptune gave her.

Neptune: “You don’t understand at all. All I wanted to do is protect you and you can’t see that! You’re just like the others. Blind! Blind! Blind! Blind!”

(Y/N) panicked. She was about to yell Noire’s name in a attempt for help but she was stopped because Neptune placed a large knife on her neck.

Neptune: “Don’t even bother to get help from Noire. She won’t be able to hear. After all, she IS dead.”

(Y/N)’s eyes widened as she heard those words.

Neptune: “She wasn't expecting someone to come out of nowhere with a knife. But again, she did have her lights off so she was at fault. But she did put up a small fight. Just a little fight before I….slit her throat.”

Neptune chuckled.

Neptune: “You should’ve seen the look on her face. She was so scared when I got the upper hand in the struggle. It was even more funny when she was bleeding out. Reaching her hands to her neck to stop the bleeding that would never stop.”

She stopped talking and had a disgusted look on her face.

Neptune: “All I did was love you and this is how you repay me?! I wasn’t good enough for you. You just pretended to love me but you still loved Noire even after what she did to you.”

Neptune pressed the knife against (Y/N)’s neck. She smiled at her murderously.

Neptune: “If I can’t have you. No One can.”

Neptune dragged the knife across (Y/N)’s neck and almost immediately, she reached for her neck. She was bleeding everywhere and was gasping for air.

Neptune: “Just let it go already. You’re not going to make it out alive and I made sure of it.”

Neptune leaned forward towards (Y/N)’s ear.

Neptune: “I want you to feel like when I first met you. Breathless.”

Neptune took two fingers and closed (Y/N)’s mouth, cutting off her way of breathing. (Y/N) soon died from the large gash in her neck. Her eyes dim and lifeless. Neptune smiled.

Neptune: “Goodnight, (Y/N).......
