Thank you to everyone who entered. I have been judging and sending bits of information all over the place to determine the winner of The Gracious Book Awards.
In 1st place is...
Chaz1235 with Shadow murderer.
The other judges and I agreed that this book was expertly written. The characters are described well and the plot is superb. I have scrolled through the comments and some people complain that it is not good because it is set in a prison. To me, that made it unique. I love the way that it doesn't end how standard murder mysteries do. The plot twists are insane. They are believable and realistic. Well done. Chaz1235 wins.
In 2nd place is
MolayneMelody with The woods
This deserves 2nd place because it is good. The prologue has a lot of mystery from the offset which I like. The characters are believable and the descriptions are nice and I can picture them. Also there is action before we even know these guys which I like.
And 3rd is Jelmo03 with Beginning of an end
Although this only has one chapter, it is very gripping. I automatically know what's going on and who the characters are. There is no info dumping but I still know what is going on.
