Harry Potter's Point Of View

"Oh god," I heard Percy whisper beside me. Why was this happening to us? Why, out of all people and days, was today the day that they would get in trouble? And why would Leo be punished? It wasn't his fault!

"Leo, I'm sorry!" I whispered to Leo. By the look on his face, I could tell he didn't realise how sorry I really was. "It's not your fault. I went out, not looking at the time. Because of you we aren't in worse trouble. If not for you, we would've been at least half an hour late. Now we're only 5 minutes late." Leo whispered back. Eric was standing over us, ready to punish us. He was about to start talking when Four came running over. "Eric! Where were you? We have to start explaining StoryBrooke, and the burning offerings." Four said to Eric. "Leo, Percy, Harry." Four said, nodding his head to each of us. "What are you guys doing here? You're going to miss lunch!" "These boys," Eric started to say, pointing his finger at us as though he was a 5 year old telling on other little kids "have come back to the campsite 5 minutes late. They do not deserve lunch. They should loose at least 20 points each, if not more. What they have done is not ok." "Come now, Eric. It's the first day. They were probably too excited to discover more about Dauntless to think about the time. Let them have lunch. And, don't make them loose points, we said we would only start tomorrow. Come on Harry, Percy, Leo."

Percy and I sat at the table for people in our cabin. Leo went to the Hephaestus table. "Ok. Sorry about that. Now, let me explain to you about StoryBrooke..." Everyone fell asleep as Four and Eric droned on and on about StoryBrooke. Finally, after what seemed to be hours, Eric said "and now, we want to tell you about the burning offerings for your parents. At least, your godly parent..." I felt like that was my cue to go back to sleep.

Finally, after what felt like another 20 hours, I heard Four say "and now, we will sacrifice our food and have lunch." but Eric interrupted, and said "let's first see if we can get anyone else to be claimed. Everyone who hasn't been claimed, please come here." Everyone at my table stood up. Everyone, except for me. "Ok, one at a time, come stand on this stool." One at a time, everyone stood on the stool. Augustus Waters was claimed by his father Dionysus. This surprised a lot of people as Dionysus didn't have that many demigod kids. Augustus sat down alone at a table meant for Dionysus. Next, the girl named Piper McLean was claimed by Aphrodite. Piper was very embarrassed. Apparently, she did not feel that she should be one of Aphrodite's daughters. Reluctantly, Piper walked over to the Aphrodite table and sat next to a girl named Melissa Grambared who was originally from Abnegation. Percy went next, but he wasn't claimed. Sadly, awkwardly, and slowly, Percy came back to my still-empty table. A boy named Frank Zhang was claimed by his father, Ares. He didn't seem too happy about it. "He probably feels as though there is a lot of pressure on him to win this year's Hunger Games. That is, if he gets reaped." Percy told me. After Frank sat down at the Ares table, a brown and bushy-haired girl named Hermione went. The second she stood on the stool, an owl glowed above her head. Athena was her mother. Hermione hopped of the stool and skipped to the table for Athena's kids. She immediately started talking to a girl named Annabeth. Percy had followed Hermione's gaze and saw Annabeth. I could see that Percy made eye contact with Annabeth and then Percy blushed. I had to hide my face to stop Percy from seeing me giggle. After Hermione was sitting comfortable at the Athena table, a girl with a long plait on the left side of her head went onto the stool. After 2 or 3 minutes, finally she was claimed by Artemis. There were a couple more people in line, but they weren't lucky enough to be claimed. They sat back down at our table, and then, after all that, the tables went up, one by one, to give up burnt offerings to their godly parents. My table now only had me and 3 others. Percy, Jason, and a girl named Thalia. It was quite funny because Jason and Thalia had the same surname. They obviously didn't know if they had the same godly father. They probably weren't related because Thalia was Amity Born and Jason was Dauntless born. They both had weird backgrounds though. Thalia and Jason shared the same birthday. When Thalia was 5 and a half, her mum mysteriously disappeared. One day when Thalia came back from "school" her mum wasn't there. She was sent to TOH, where I met her. Only hours before she arrived, one of my friends - one that I didn't really remember until I met him again at Dauntless yesterday - was picked up by his mother to go to Dauntless. That friend was Jason. I am actually quite happy that they aren't claimed, because now I have a friend that I made yesterday (Percy), and 2 kids that have kept me company for most of my years. I don't know many people whose cabin is full of people that are their friends. I guess you could almost say I'm lucky.
