Chapter 13

I was walking through the halls to the  library.

"Sky!" Dean called. I ran to the library and saw the guys sitting at the table.

"What happened?" I asked.

"We got ourselves a case." I smiled knowing I get to do something. "Five guys, hearts ripped out." He said passing me the the labtop.

"So, what are we thinking? Werewolf?"

"Maybe." I nodded handing the labtop back to him. I went to pack my bag, Kevin came in and started packing, I looked at him confused.

"You're coming?"

"Yeah, I'm not here for tablets anymore, and you know I can do this, you helped train me." He said.

"I know, but......"

"What?"

"I don't want you getting hurt." I said sitting down on the bed. He came over and sat down next to me, he took my hand in his.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine, as long as I'm with you and Sam and Dean."

"Yeah, but..." Tears welled up in my eyes. "I've seen so many people that I love, die because of what we do. I-I.... I can't sit back and watch it happen to you too."

"But you let Sam and Dean go."

"Yeah because they've been doing this their whole lifes, you've only been doing this for a little while. Plus, they have died before, a lot!''

"Don't worry."

"I have to worry, I love you." He pulled me into a hug.

"I love you too." We continued packing.

    We got to the motel, I didn't have to share a bed with one of my brothers, but the man I loved.

"Okay, no funny business." Dean said giving me the key to our room.

"Dean, stop it." I groaned. Kevin took my hand and guided me to the room. It was a one king bed, it was nice, I throw my duffle on the floor and flopped on the bed, Kevin chuckled and placed his duffle near the table beside the window. "I'm bored!" I said looking at Kevin. He shook his head and smiled.

"Well, lets fix that." He said coming up to me and pulling me off the bed. He grabbed his phone and 'Life After You by Daughtry', I smiled that he remembered that I told him my mom would rock me with this song playing.

"You remembered."

"How could I forget." He said and grabbed my waist, I rapped my arms around his neck and we just started swaying, I layed my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, he started humming to the song. I started having flashbacks, of my mom, somehow I could remember when I was a baby.

~Flashback~

    I was in my crib looking around my room, it was green and I could see out the window, it was a beautiful spring night over the small town. My mom came in and picked me up, I grabbed onto a strand of her long dark brown hair, her dark green eyes sparkled.

"Hello my sunshine." She dragged her finger gently down my cheek. "My only light in this dark world. I love you my baby." She went over to the music player and put on Life After You, and started rocking me. After a few minutes I yawned, and she placed me in my crib. "Sleep well my sunshine, and always know I'll always be here to protect you from the monsters out there." But that didn't last long.

    Today dad was coming to visit, he wouldn't get here until later tonight. I was just lying in my crib when a dark silhouette walked up to me, it cut it's wrist and bled into my mouth, I started to cry, then I heard footsteps coming up and stopped at my door.
