Lolli slung a satchel over Vanessa's shoulder- which contained some food, a jug of water, the gift for Vanessa, and..
"Huh?" Vanessa pulled out a small object from the bag and a blade poked out, revealing a pocket knife. "Uh.. Lolli..?"
"What? You need something to defend yourself, don't ya?" Lolli points out. Vanessa shakes her head and sighs, "True. I guess I have no other choice but to agree."
"Good!" Lolli clasped her paws together and began to give Vanessa instructions. "So if you go down this trail here, you should be able to reach your way to the next town up ahead. Got that?" "Yeah I guess so. Thanks."
"Yup! And Vanessa..?" Vanessa turns to Lolli, cocking her head to the side. "Yes..?"
"Please.. Do be safe. This Puppeteer.. Sounds like bad news. And I would feel awful if anything bad happens to you.. So do you promise you'll keep cautious at all costs?" Vanessa gives Lolli a reassuring smile. "Of course I'll keep safe. I'll be as aware of my surroundings as much as possible," She shakes her paw. "And again, thank you. I hope to see you soon?" "Yes.."
Then Vanessa parted ways with Lolli, heading down the trail she was instructed to go down.
