Vanessa had gone pretty far now from where she was before, and her knees felt as though they would give out at any moment. She kept going, until she had realized that the trail was gone now. "Oh great.." She mumbles in frustration. "Well, there's a brighter side to this.. Break time."

In the meantime, Vanessa found a nice patch of grass and sits down, enjoying the beauty of nature for awhile and taking a long rest before she had to continue her way to the next town.. Somehow, that is.

Soon Vanessa grew tired, and it didn't take long for her to lay down and close her eyes..

SPLASH!

Vanessa looks down to find herself in an ocean of water, underneath its current. She swam up to catch her breath, but had gotten washed away once again. Vanessa kept paddling as much as she could, fighting off the waves hard. Water began to splash in her face, going up into her nose which stung really badly and made her eyes burn in pain. Just before she was about to give up and accept her fate, she saw someone arose from the waters with an out stretched hand: The Puppeteer. He smiled at Vanessa wickedly, as she began to get swept into the whirlpool he created himself. The only thing she heard before she was gulped completely down into the waters abyss was his evil cackles, along with five words that rang through her head repeatedly:

"Do we have a deal..?"

Vanessa woke up from her nightmare and sat up frantically, gasping for air. She took a few fearful glances around the area she was currently in and placed her hand on her chest, taking a few deep breaths to calm herself down.

"Oh thank god it was just a bloody nightmare.." She whispers. "But that's odd.. I've never had nightmares before.. Well I mean, the last time I had one was such a long time ago.. When I was only a small child, not even close to a teen.." Vanessa stretched and stood up, gathering her belongings.

"I guess that's it for my break.." She began to continue to continue her walk, taking the way through the forest to figure out how to get to where she needed to go.

"Strange.. I just hope this doesn't keep up.."
