Chapter 18

Brittney's Point of View:
After 24 hours in the hospital Ethan was finally home, Jonah had given me the family house so I could help Ethan and the twins are now back school and that's closer then Cora's place. Cora has been getting ready for the baby, so she is coming over today to go through the baby clothes that I kept over the years. I have boxes of clothes and toys.

"Mum are you going to go back to dad," she said, as I sat the box down onto bed where she was sitting.

"Love I don't have a clue what I'm going to do," I said.

"I know he has stuffed up, but he loves you and misses you. The other day at the hospital he told me he has stopped drinking since it happened, mum he's been trying to change for you. I know how you feel; I'm so pissed at dad for what he did. I will not  hate you if you don't take him back but I think that taking him back will be the best thing," she said, which of course made me cry.

I felt Cora's arms wrap around me.

"Hey look," Cora said reaching over into the box and grabbed a photo out.

"I remember that it was your second Christmas I was wearing a matching one until your brother throw up all over me," We laugh.

An hour later I was making lunch for all of us. I decided to text Jonah just a simple, 'would you like to come over and have lunch with Ethan, Cora and I' and of course he said yes. Couple minutes later the front door opened.

"Hey babe," he said. His eyes open wide.

"Shit I'm sorry it's just a habit," he said.

"It's okay. So I'm making chicken taco Salads," I said.

He sat down at the kitchen bar watching what I was doing. After a minute or two I spoke up.

"Ethan is in the down stairs bedroom and Cora is upstairs in my room," I said, trying to make a conversion, hopefully he didn't hear my heart that was just about to beat out of my chest.

"It's okay I actually want to talk to you," he said.

"About," I questioned.

"Because it seems like this is 100 percent finished I thought maybe we could talk about me getting the twins sometimes and I wanted you to have this house, it doesn't seem far that I have the house. You need it more," he said.

I could feel the tears coming; I was trying to hold them back but nope. Tears rolled down my cheeks feeling like they will never stop.  Jonah had wrapped his hands around my neck pulling me to a hug.

I knew what I had to do.

"Jonah I don't what this to be over, I love you, I freaking love you," I cried.

He placed his fingers under my chin to make me look at him. In a moment of seconds his lips were on mine, I missed the way his plumed lips made me feel inside. Once we pulled back we looked into each other's eyes with our foreheads resting against each other.

"So does this mean we are a happy little family again," A voice made us jump.

It was Cora with Ethan in his wheelchair.

"I think so," we both said together.

Once we had lunch which was a bit late, Ethan went to bed and Cora went home. We both went food shopping and picked the twins up. They were over happy to know we were back together.

1 Year Later:
Three person's POV:
"Where are we going," Brittney laughed, as she was blindfolded and being walked by Jonah.

Little did she know Jonah had made a super surprise for their holiday. Jonah had made flights for Brittney, him, Ethan and his girlfriend, Cora's family and the twins to fly to Hawaii for Brittney's Birthday. Brittney could feel the sand between your toes, trying to figure out what was happening.

"Are you going to kill me," Brittney said.

"What, no we are almost there," Jonah chuckled.

Once they finally made it to the location, Jonah taken the blindfold off Brittney's eyes letting her get used to the light. She looked up to see her family and a guy in a suit. Jonah got down on one knee.

"Will you renew our vows," Jonah said.

"Of course," she said.

Update:
Cora had a little boy which was named Jonah sadly Connor left her without saying one word.
Ethan is now with a beautiful girl that was his nurse when he was getting his ribs checked.
The Twins are still the twins going though that 'I know everything' faze.
The entire Why don't we boys are still who there are.
Jonah and Brittney had the renew vows wedding and as they wished they grew old together watching their children and grandchildren grow up.
