"Yeah. You should, but not over the phone. You need to talk to her face to face" Jonah said trying to help Corbyn. No matter how much he didn't want Corbyn to be with Maddie, his ex, He knew that it would make him happy and honestly that's all Jonah wanted. He wanted Corbyn to be happy.

"Your right. I'll ask her to come over" Corbyn said and texted her

Hey, can you come over?

Sure babe, I'm on my way Thanks.
                       Your welcome! Love you!

Corbyn read the last text and shook his head. She was acting like nothing happened. He sighed and leaned against Jonah's chest, crying, again.

Jonah sighed putting his arms back around Corbyn. Letting the smaller boy cry into his chest.

A little bit later Maddie showed up. When she did Jonah, of course, was still at the house. Maddie didn't bother knocking, she just walked in and came to Corbyns room. "Babe" She said softly "what's the matter?"

Jonah stood up carefully "I'll go wait downstairs while you two talk"

"No, Jonah, stay please"  Corbyn said grabbing ahold of Jonah's hand

Jonah nodded and sat back down on the bed listening to the two

"Babe" Maddie repeated herself "are you okay?" She said softly

"No I am not okay" Corbyn said his voice cracking "today I saw you kissing someone that was not me and I'm not okay with that. You act like nothing happened, but I can't do that and you shouldn't"

"Corbyn I-I can explain" Maddie said her voice shaking

"How can you explain cheating?" Corbyn shook his head, not realizing he still had ahold of Jonah's hand.

"Look, I got caught up in the moment. I don't know why I did it and I feel so bad about it" she shook her head looking at the floor

"No you don't" Corbyn shot back "if you felt bad then you wouldn't have walked in here acting like nothing happened when clearly something did happen" he sighed shakily

"I-I'm Sorry" Maddie said as if she had nothing else to say. That's all she said the whole time they were talking

"Whatever Maddie. I'm done with you, can you leave" Corbyn said motioning towards the door

"Please, Corbyn give me a second chance. I swear it will never happen again" she said grabbing his other hand

"No, Maddie, this isn't the first time that you have cheated on me. You have done this multiple times and I'm done. I have given you WAY more chances than I should have. You were the reason I almost died freshman year. You cheated over and over and I'm don't with it.  Now please get out" Corbyn said and Maddie left. When she was gone Corbyn took a deep, shaky breath and looked over at Jonah who was just siting there, looking shocked.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Was all Jonah could say. He knew his friend had tried to off himself Freshman year, but he didn't know it was because she cheated. He thought that she helped him through it. That's what they had always told him.

"Because I didn't want everyone to hate her. I wanted to give her another chance and well...we see how far that got me" Corbyn shook his head and another tear rolled down his face.

Jonah sighed and wiped the tear away "she wasn't worth it"

Corbyn knew Jonah was right, Maddie wasn't worth it. Which is why he doesn't know why he made the decision he made next.
