but seriously, today we talk about an important topic because it's pretty relevant to this week and wattpad as a whole.
you should never, under any circumstances give a hate account attention
i've had only two hate accounts made for me. the first was given loads of attention, and they didn't stop until their book was deleted.
one is still active, but since no one has given them attention, the account is slowly becoming less active.
there is NO justification in giving a hate account attention. and it is not ok under any circumstances to give it attention. that's what they're looking for.
i may sound like that annoying parent telling you to "ignore ur bully!!1!1!1!" but there's a reason that adults tell you that.
hurling insults at them isn't much better. why? because you become just as bad as them. in this life, everything counts.
don't believe me? in my hometown, there was a teenage boy, a freshman in highschool. he wasn't hounded daily. but people did tease him on social media. he had made a hate account for a girl. but when it was discovered it was him, insults like "fat" and "fag" where haphazardly thrown at him, even though he had said the exact same things to that girl.
in his suicide note to his parents, he said this: "if someone smiles at me on the bridge, i will not jump."
everything you say affects someone, somehow.
