The Stable Boy

A secret meeting place

CHAPTER 2

"A bit late for you to be out here is'nt it??" I turned round to see a the shape of a person up in the tree but i couldn't see his face because it was to dark. I stood for a minute thinking "well what are you doing here this is a special garden owned by the royal family" i finally say "pfft" he responds. I have decided i don't like this boy already i say through gritted teeth "get down from that tree and show yourself" "why?" he cheekily asks "because i said so now get down i order you" i hear him move down the tree then a thud. He steps out into the light so i can see him he was super attractive he had dark brown hair with a soft wave and the most incredible blue eyes that were a deep sapphire blue which i just got lost in he smiles oh my god he has a gorgeous smile. "something bothering you?" he asks with a smirk on his face "may i ask what is your name?" i question "blake im the stable boy" he responds i nod "well blake im sure you know who i am and this is my spot" i say remembering that i dont like this boy even though he is really hot.

I walk past Blake and climb the tree right up to the very top so i could see the night sky illuminated with the millions of stars that sparkled in a magical way. I lay there daydreaming and thinking of my father and just being at peace until i hear blake climbing up the tree. "Whoa" i hear his voice whisper i sit up and turn around to face him he is looking up he beautiful blue eyes wide and filled with the stars light "what?" i ask " i have never been up this high in the tree before" he responds he sits on the branch next to mine and lyes down i just look at him for a moment then lay down aswell. "I have always loved the stars" i say in a soft voice "me too" blake responds we lay there for a while just staring at the sky.

" I think i should be heading back" i say sitting up " when shall i see you again?" blake asks in the most innocent voice that sends warmth through my body "soon lets make this our secret meeting place" i respond i think i have decided i shall be friends with this boy. We climb back down the tree and i glance back at blake he smiles and winks at me then i go back through the hole in the hedge. I walk slowly back to the palace through the gardens admiring the gardens and the colours of the pretty flowers surrounding me.

I sneek in through the kitchen doors into the palace because i dont want to get caught by my mother. As im heading back to my chamber i hear voices coming from the throne room i stop and put my ear to the door so i can hear whats being said. First i hear my mothers voice " she is to young and immature to be queen at the moment" then i hear edmund " but who shall rule i suggest we marry within the month and be crowned" i have to stop my self from being sick the idea of marrying edmund disgusts me my mother speaks again " you and her dont love each other she will be very reluctant" i nod in agreement with my mother " I DONT CARE SHE WILL BE MY BRIDE AND WE SHALL RULE THIS KINGDOM!" edumunds voice echoes through the palace. I decide i have heard enough and return to my chamber.

Once i am back in my chamber i change into my evening gown and get into bed as soon as i lye down i start reviewng my evening. My head is full of different things my father , blake the stable boy and my mother and edmunds conversation if you could even call it that. I decide to analyse Blake first so i went from i hate you then to lets be friends within the soace of an hour or so looking at the stars. Then there is my mother and edmund planning my life without me which is silly because i will only do what i want to do with my life. And finally my father i am going to miss him so much i begin to feel the tears reaforming in my eyes this time i let them flow and cry myself to sleep.
