“What else?” I squealed.
“He has black hair, that’s it.” He said dully while tapping some things on his phone.
“Do you really think it’s Red?” I asked him again.
“I’ve already told you, there’s just a really tiny possibility that it was him.” He was randomly tapping some things on his phone.
“How did you even come to the conclusion that it was Red?!” I kept on pestering him.
“Just because he dropped an orange paper, okay?” he said giving me a ‘give-me-a-break-look.’
“Wh-“he cut me off.
“Let’s just get the things that you’re mother asked you to get her that sounds much more fun than talking about a color.” He said getting up.
“When did you ever like going to the grocery?” I said teasing him.
“When Red started to put a crack in our friendship.” He said seriously.
“Seriously dude.” I said raising an eyebrow.
“If you want to fix it then you would get up and start our shopping adventure.” He said dramatically.
“You’re so dramatic!” I said laughing at him.
Josh and I was currently at Starbucks, it is our favorite place to hang out so that explains why we’re here even though we have a lot of shopping to do. It’s not the ‘girly’ shopping kind; it’s the ‘my-mom-would-pay-me-a-visit-and-I-am-not-stocked’ kind of shopping.
My mom called me yesterday, and did I mention I almost had a heart attack? She called me to say that she’d be checking on me. She wants to see for herself if I’m doing well, if I’m responsible enough, and if I can live on my own. It doesn’t really surprise me though; my mom and dad have always treated me like a princess.
After that conversation with my mom I immediately called Josh and Jena because I would probably buy half of the mall. Well, not literally, I’m not that rich but you get the picture.
Josh picked me up after five texts of ‘I’m almost there’, and Jena said she’ll meet us there because some things came up. I wonder why Jena’s so busy lately.
Josh got a push cart and I searched for the list in my purse. I was surprised when I looked up to see Josh wearing a wig.
“So we should get so-“I lost what I was going to say when I saw what Josh was doing.
“Oh Josh you’re so funny!” Josh said in a girly voice. That wig made him look like a muscular lady.
“What are you doing?” I said trying not to laugh.
“Oh darling, this friend of yours is so funny!” He said with a horrible girly laugh.
“Are you trying to act like my mom?” I was now laughing hard.
“I am your mom, darling.” He said turning his back around me and getting the push cart.
“Don’t tell me you’re going to go around the grocery with that!” I said in between laughs.
“Oh darling!” He was pushing the cart and I just had to follow him. “I just went to the salon last Friday, does my hair already look that horrible?” He said looking worried.
