Mario POV:
Today is my first day of school, not gonna lie I'm sort of freaking out. But that's ok, I just have to get through this day, and then another and then another and so on.
I had fruit loops for breakfast, the bus ride was ok. My first class was ok too. My teacher for social studies probably does drugs and he spit bread on us. My next class was ok. Then band. I used to play saxophone but I switched, percussion seemed more fun.
I walk into the band room, which was actually the stage because the school won't spend any extra money on the band. I talk to the band teacher, he's pretty chill, he tells a kid named Ethan to introduce me to the percussion section, he doesn't.
But as I look around at the percussionist, they look average, but someone walks in. He was beautiful. He had a beautiful smile and emerald green eyes. Wow, I lost my breath.
Ethan walks up to him, and whispers something in his ear, he turns around and smiles at me, I melt. He walks over and I start getting really nervous.
"Hi I'm Caleb." He says.
"Mario." I barely get my name out of my mouth. Up close you could see he had glowing skin."So you are the new percussionist?" He asks me.
"Yeah, I'm not very good though." It's true I've never played, I can read music, but I'm better at sax.
"How about you come over later and I'll teach you the basics." He's offering to help, what do I say?
"Thanks, I could really use the help." An Asian looking kid walks over."Hey Caleb, can you come over and help with percussion?"
"Sorry I'm helping Mario today, and Eli you are good enough you don't need lessons."
"Who's Mario?" Eli asks.
Caleb points to me and Eli glares at me, he then walks away to talk to a kid with a Mohawk that looks like a cactus.I eventually meet everyone.
Ethan seems like a decent person, he gave me animal crackers. Ryan seems like a pretty decent person too. I learn the cactus kid is will. Emma seems cool but she probably vapes after school. After band, school was pretty boring, but I meet Caleb and we ride the bus to his house, it turns out we are on the same bus so I just get off at his stop. When we get to his house I met his mom, she's pretty cool. She made us brownies. After Caleb taught me the basics of percussion, we hung out for a while.
While eating our brownies we played truth or more intense truth, regular truth is just dumb things, intense truth are deep questions/personal questions.
"Truth or more intense truth?" He asks.
"More intense truth." I answer.
"So now that you met everyone, do you like someone?" He asks, he looks very curious.
"Maybe someone." I answer, I can't let him now it is him."WHO?" He asks.
"Not telling, you'll will tell them." I answer. He eventually gets over it and I go home. Today was a good day.
