MENTAL: RULES TO SANITY
Rule #2: It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.

I awoke to the bright light of the sun hitting my eyes. I slept in the alleyway of the apartment's, it was the most silent place I could find for the night, I'm just lucky we were still in the season of summer, or I would've had to suffer the cold. Right now I was just hankering for a hot shower it has been two days since my last one, since I've escaped that hell hole.
And here I was, Dankook Campus, where the life of Riley Yang will begin.Walking towards the main building, I saw and heard people whisper as I passed by while staring.
"Is she a Kpop idol?"
"She's so pretty!"
"Why can't I look like her?!"
"She's hot!"
Maybe it was the outfit I was wearing that had made all the heads to turn and stare. Looking down at what I was wearing, a white long-sleeved top, a brown plaid skirt, and white vans.
"Riley!" My head snapped to familiar high-pitched voice. "Yura!" A smile welcomed my face when I saw the young girl prancing her way to me. "First day of school! Are you ready?" She had her pink hair up in a ponytail, wearing blue denim shorts, matching her denim jacket, and a hot pink crop top. "Nervous a little." I looked around, as we started to continue walking.
"Me to, I hope there will be some cute guys in my classes though!~" I laughed at the girl who had managed to make a fool out herself when embarrassingly squealing out of no where. "Calm your tits!" Sky had popped out of no where, scaring the shit out of us. "Seulgi! You almost gave me a heart attack!" Yura attempted to slap the girl. "It's Sky."
"You know I don't speak English! Seulgi it is for me!" I shook my head at the two who were causing attention, making me feel uncomfortable. "Hey!" Yura though ended up slapping my arm. "Why'd you leave me with the mental girl." I looked around, noticing again how many eyes were on us. And my heart picked up its pace, cold sweat rolling down my temple. "Hey...are you alright." Yura's playfulness suddenly disappeared, replaced with worry and seriousness.
Memories.
My parent's death.
"The child was the one that killed them?!"
"Watch out it's the demon child!!!"
"How can such a small child do that to her own parents?"
"GET HER AWAY FROM HERE!!!"
The voices of people.
Strangers.
Who didn't know the truth.
"Have I seen her on TV? She looks like an idol for sure."
"How does she manage to look pretty even without makeup?!"
Comments were heard here and there, from inside the building. "Riley..." The girl knocked out of her state. Maybe this is normal in the outside world... "Yeah, I'm fine." Yura and Sky didn't seem to believe it though. "You know you have a lot of eyes on you Riley." Jihee had suddenly came walking towards us. "You made it easy to find you guys." She slung her arm around my shoulders. "Had a good night sleep?"
"Can you stop leaving me with her!?" Eunji complained, as Hwayoung laughed at the poor irritated girl. "She is always up in my business! Ugh!" Hwayoung, on the other hand, only skipped to the group. "She's a little salty this morning."
