Chapter 2

Maria P.O.V:
We were just chatting. The whole time I felt eyes on me. I looked and saw that Annie was giving me dirty looks. Dang what's her problem? Then a group of guys came over.
Marcus- Oh Skylar and Maria this is Jake, Chance, and Anthony.
They waved at us and we waved back. Then Annie pulled them to the side along with Lucas.
Annie P.O.V:
I pulled them and Lucas to the side.
Lucas- Babe what is it?
Me- It's that girl Maria, I don't like her at all. She is trying to steal Lucas from me I know it.
Jake- What do you want us to do?
Me- I want you guys to bully her.
Lucas- Wait but ba...
me- No don't babe me you're doing it and you're not going to stop.
Lucas- Okay.
*The next day*
Maria P.O.V:
I woke up the next morning and guess what, I have school today.
Skylar- Dai o saremo in ritardo.
*Translate- Come on or we will be late*
Me- Ve bene sto arrivando.
*Translate- Okay I'm coming*
We both walked to school. The sad thing is that we don't have the same classes together.
Me- Aww we don't have the same classes.
Skylar- Dang it.
I went to my first class and saw Lucas. He gave me a mean look. I was kinda scared.
Lucas- Oh look it the British freak.
He and his group of friends laughed.
Me- I'm Italian.
I was sad I thought he was a kind boy. Then class started. *After class* I walked to my next class but then someone pushed me up against the locker. It was...Lucas.
Me- Lucas what's wrong with you?
Lucas- Look the British freak is talking.
Me- For the last time I'm Italian!
Lucas- Woah clam down there.
Me- Lasciami in pace, maledetto prepotente!
*Translate- Leave me alone you freaking bully*
He had a confused look on his face. I just ran off to my next class. Guess who walked in. Lucas. Great. He and his friends were throwing papers at me. I asked the teacher if I could use the restroom and she said yes. I walked out and I saw Annie. Wow could this day get any worse?
Annie- What's he British girl doing out here?
Me- I'm Italian!
Annie- Listen here girl, stay away from Lucas he's mine!
Me- You can have him I don't even like him!
I lied I do like him but he doesn't like me back.
Annie- Haha whatever.
With her saying that she punched me in the face and I fell to the floor. She started to kick me. Then a little after she stopped.
Annie- Don't ever talk to me like that you British girl!
I just laid there on the ground crying. The. I saw someone next to me. It was Skylar.
Skylar- Oh my gosh Maria!
She took me to the nurse. They cleaned me up and we got to go home early.
Skylar- What happened?
Me- Annie is what happened.
Skylar- What the heck is wrong with that girl?
Me- I don't know, she told me to stay away from Lucas.
Skylar- Didn't you say you like Lucas?
Me- Yeah I do but he bullies me and I don't know what to do anymore Sky.
Skylar- Don't worry Maria I'll always be here for you.
She hugged me and I hugged her back.
Lucas P.O.V:
I don't like this. I don't want to bully Maria. If I don't be mean to her then Jake said he would hurt me. I don't want to date Annie anymore either. I need to put a stop to this. I like Maria she is sweet, beautiful, that accent of hers...oh my gosh I love her. I never knew I could love someone as much as I love Maria. I can't handle this anymore I'm going to stop bullying her. I don't care if I get hurt. I want Maria to be safe.
