Jungkooks POV:
I observed her as she walked into the room. I couldn't see her bubbly personality like usual, she just look tired, unmotivated. It wasn't her usual self.
I hated not talking to her. It irritates me so much yet makes me feel sad too. I wanted to pull her into my arms and make her believe me, but I know she needs time and her space.
I'm still so annoyed at Mika with her twisted ways. But I'm more pissed at myself. What an idiot. How could I be so blind?
I look up at Leah as she only looks down at her plate. I feel so guilty, I can't imagine how she must have felt, and I have only myself to blame.
I just hope over time this will heal..
Leah's POV:
If his eyes had lasers, I'd have two burned holes through my skull. It was killing me.Maybe is was time to talk to him, I hated the silence.
Slowly but surely everyone started to leave the room leaving me Emily and Jungkook. He goes to get up but I suddenly hold his wrist as I stand up too, making his orbs look straight into mine with a surprised expression.
I sigh. "It's time we talk" he then stops and looks to his feet before glancing back up at me. He nods tiredly.
Emily give me the 'are you sure' look before I reassure her. She leaves leaving just us two I the lounge quietly.
"Look Kook....I-"
"No Leah wait" he interrupts. "Can I explain please? Hear me out.."Those last words seemed familiar...'hear me out' ....the park?
I nodded and he began to explain his side of the story. Telling how it happened and how he couldn't remember what happened in the room.
"I have no idea, all I remember was going into my room to find my phone, then being pushed onto my bed. Afterwards it's all a blur..." he said.
"But what about the bra, laying on your room floor?"
"Like I said, I don't know how it got there" he repeated."Leah you have to believe me! you know I wouldn't ever cheat on you" he pleaded. "I keep my promises"
I just sat there, I had no idea how to respond. All these feelings in my mind at once, I couldn't think.
"Leah, baby, please" he took his hand in mine, rubbing circles with his thumb on the back of my hand. "I love you so much, I'd never, ever wanna hurt you in any way"
I just looked into his eyes, and his hand, feeling his warmth.
"Jungkook..." I started to feel myself cry. "I think we need a break"
He stopped rubbing my hand. "A...break? you mean... time from us?" He said defeated.
I nodded. "I just can't right now, I-"
"You don't believe me, do you?" He said in disbelief. I chose not to say anything.
There was a long pause before He stood up and cursed under his breath, and ran his hand through his hair.
"Jungkook look-" I said trying to calm him down."After all we've been through? You want to take a break?" He says angrily.
"Jungkook I'm not sure how to feel right now okay? I need time" I sigh, frustrated."You should feel that I'm being honest Leah! It hurts that you don't believe me too" he suddenly outbursts with, I'm taken back.
"What do you expect? I'm sure if you caught me with a guy all over me you'd being annoyed! Plus I can't get the thought of her on you outta my head Jungkook. It sucks...''
He sighs sadly and turns around, kneeling down to me. "Leah....there is no way in this earth I like her, even in the slightest. She done you wrong, so I dislike her also. We are a team"
He then pauses, thinking about how to end this. He pulls me up to stand with him gently.
"Please, I'm sorry I got myself into that situation. It was stupid. But remember, Mika has pulled stunts like this in the past"
I hesitate how to answer and he noticed. He then pulls my chin up with his finger slowly.
"Just please, believe me baby"
My heart skipped a beat. I was still slightly heart broken, but woah... I didn't know how to feel
Jungkooks POV:
She just stared at me with her glossy eyes. She then slowly nodded, and a small smile appeared across her face.I felt a whole weight being lift of off my shoulders. I released my breath that I didn't know I was holding then slowly hugged her.
It may have only been a few hours but it felt like forever not having her to talk to or touch, also knowing what she'd feel.
I then broke the hug apart but left the same short distance between us.
A kiss would be too soon, so I went ahead and kissed her forehead softly, leaving my hands on either side of her head. She reacted by holding my wrists with her hands.
I then leaned my forehead to hers. All I could hear was both our breaths breathing slowly, eventually going at the same rhythm and pace.
It felt good to have her with me again.
