Ash's *POV*

A couple hours later, the doctors told me that i could leave the hospital. Finally, I was sick of them sticking needles into my arms, they hurt like hell but a least Jack was there to bury my head into while the nurses repeatedly japed my flesh.

I stood in the middle of the hospital waiting room, watching random people rush though the automatic doors with different needs. A woman in a wheelchair was rushed passed me, clutching her lower stomach and screaming in pain. Her partner held her hand and looked down lovingly at the pregnant woman as she was wheeled into a room ready to give birth.

I sat down in one of the uncomfortable metal chairs, I was waiting for Alex to pick me up and take me to the house i would be sharing with the band. Jack had left a few minutes ago due to a crisis at the studio.

I hope everything is fine, during the time we spent together he was none stop talking about the bands new album and how proud he was of it.

A sharp cry is emitted from the room the pregnant woman was taken into, a moment later the woman partner appears from inside. He takes a deep breath before taking a seat next to me. I glance at his face, he has strong cheek bones and dark brown hair which makes his green eyes stand out. I notice that he has tear stains down his face and that he's wearing a bright smile.

He turns his head towards me and smiles brighter, before speaking in a Scottish accent.

"My wife just had a baby boy." he said, while wiping away a few tears which escaped.

" That's great news, congrats." I say with a small smile.

" Thank you, we've been trying for ages and finally its happened." he said.

" Wow, that's great then. I'm happy for..." I was cut off by a nurse speaking.

" Are you Mr Davis?" the nurse said, she had a small bundle in her arms wrapped in a white blanket. It must be the mans new born child.

"Yes, that's me" he said, while standing up and addressing the woman.

" Here's your child sir, your wife named him Jordan." The nurse passed the child to the man before walking away again.

The man looked down at the baby and rocked him slowly. He started crying again before walking back into the room his wife was in.

I slumped down into the metal chair and laid my head against the back, letting my hair spill over the chair's back. I stared at the white ceiling blinking as the bright lights shone into my eyes. Seeing that man look at his child like that made me think of my dad and how he used to care for me. Tears began to cloud my vision and before I knew it they were running down my face.

Ugh.

I'm too weak, I need to stop crying like this. I need to start building up my walls again and this time no one will get in.

"Ash, are you OK?"

I look up to see a worried looking Alex standing in front of me. I stood up and wiped my tears of my pale face.

"Erm, yeah I'm fine." I said, giving him a small fake smile.

He looked at me as if he knew i was faking but shrugged it of anyway. Thank god, i didn't want anyone else asking about my life, my walls are up and nothing will stop them coming down now.

It's as if i have a metal barrier around my heart. It's bulletproof now.

"OK then, well shall we go home then?" I ask while walking towards the door.

"Er yeah, OK." Alex said before following me out the hospital doors and towards his car.

Here I am, a broken girl going to live a new life with her favourite band.

Bring it on.
