She could smell the food from her bedroom; two fried eggs and bacon, the same thing her mom made for breakfast every day.
The thought of it made her stomach churn. She was hungry, but she was also strong, and food is for the weak.
Trudging down the stairs and into the kitchen, Olivia looked out for her parents - gone.
They were always gone.
She looked at her plate of breakfast and quickly threw it into the trash.
Grabbing a water bottle and a few grapes to eat, she composed herself and walked out of the door.
