"Damn it Olivia, you can't just throw away all of your food! Think about the starving children in Africa!"
Olivia's mother had called and left a lengthy voicemail after finding her breakfast in the trash.
"I should not have to come home just to find the food that I spent my time and money making in the rubbish! EAT."
She groaned and deleted the message, fear rising in her blood.
Did her mom suspect anything? Was she going to start checking up on what she ate?
With a sour look on her face, she turned around and walked back over to her friends.
"Something happened?"
"Just my mom being annoying," Olivia faked a laugh, switching her phone off as she walked into class.
