It was approximately 6:58pm on June 1st, and Lance was a nervous wreck. His thoughts were consumed entirely with the boy he had fallen for and would soon be meeting. He had never felt this anxious to see someone in person before, even though Keith and him had alreay Skyped a couple times.
He kept reminding himself that he had no reason to be nervous, yet he kept anxiously counting down the seconds on his watch until it would be noon.

tickWhen he put his wrist to his ear he could hear the watch's monotonous clicking, seeming to daunt him with every passing second. He tried to focus on the sound of the clock hands shifting, though he found little success. Keith would inevitably be on his mind whether he liked it or not.
He tapped his feet on the grassy soil beneath he bench he rested on, trying to match the pace of the watch. Anything, anything, to distract him.
Maybe he should focus on the clouds, or try counting the blades of grass, or just leave, or-
"Lance?"
A timid voice whispered from behind him, causing Lance to whip around in reflex, nearly smacking his head into the standing boy's stomach.
A small giggle erupted from the figure as he walked from behind the bench towards Lance, realization dawning across the Cuban's features.
The brunette yelped in utter joy and tackled Keith into a hug after recognizing him, knocking him onto the grassy field of the park. His hands instinctively reached to shield the shorter boy's head from the impact, crushing his fingertips.
"Ow!" Lance yelped, quickly sitting up on Keith's thighs. The boy below him was beaming and laughing, violet eyes glowing behind long fluttery eyelashes.
"You're clumsier in person," Keith observed, propping himself up on his elbows. Lance shrugged in response, leaning over to ruffle the small boy's fluffy hair.
Small was the perfect word to describe the person in front of him; a thin frame, angular yet delicate features resting upon his face. On camera, Lance would estimate him being about 5'10, but in person he appeared to be about 5'5.
Keith abruptly stood up, causing Lance to slide back onto the grass, white shirt smothered with dew and vivid green stains.
He grumbled and patted the seems of the fabric around his chest. "You ruined my shirt," Keith snorted. "You tackled me first, doofus."
Lance rolled his ocean eyes, smiling to show he was simply joking. Keith's voice was even prettier in person. He wanted to keep the sound in a jar and open it whenever he was feeling sad.
"You're quite tall," Keith stated out of the blue, taking a step backwards. Lance smirked quirked an eyebrow. "Wow, thanks for pointing it out, I never knew." He sarcastically replied, bringing another grin to Keith's beautiful face.
There was a period of comfortable silence before one of them spoke again. "Tall people are hot." Keith said with a wink.
Lance sputtered. "Why are you so much more flirtatious in real life?" He questioned, though he certainly wasn't complaining. When the two first met Keith didn't want anything to do with him, yet here he stands openly flirting.
