The Foreigner [ON HOLD]

CH. 2

"Hey wake up sleepy head" Jackson says as he nudges you to wake up

"Hmm?" You say as you start to stretch and adjust your glasses

"Wake up and get your stuff we are the last ones on the plane" Jackson says as he gets up and adjusts his backpack

Your eyes are wide open in shock

"Really?" You say and jump up

He was right the last person had just gotten off the plane. You see the pilot and flight attendants ready for you to get off and say bye.

Jackson starts to walk toward the exit door. You grab your things and follow him to the exit door.

"Welcome to Korea" the flight attendant said in English

"Thank you" you and Jackson say and head into the tunnel

"So how long you gonna be here in Korea for?" Jackson says as he turns around to see you

"3 weeks" you say

"We should hang out, since you probably don't know anybody here" Jackson says as he stops in his tracks. (Stops walking)

"Sure Jackson! I'll send you a text or give me a call! wait why did you stop? " you say and stop as well

"You'll see, you go out first" Jackson says and puts his hands in his pocket

"Ok then, bye Jackson send me a text whenever your free" you say and wave goodbye as you start to head through the exit of the tunnel

As you excited the tunnel there was lots of flashing cameras, no wonder Jackson told you to go first.

You go to grab your luggage and start to head to the currency exchange. In American dollars you had up to 3,000$.

"I will like to exchange 2,000$ U.S dollars to wons please" you tell the lady as you hand 2,000$ dollars

"Of course 2,000 dollars to wons is 2 million won" the lady said and gave you your money

"Thank you" you said as you took the money and left, you place the money in your wallet and start to head out the airport

"How do I call for a taxi?" You mumble to yourself

You see a taxi coming your way and start to wave.

The taxi stops at your feet.
The driver gets out the car grabs your luggage and places them inside the trunk.

"Do you speak English?" You say loud enough for the driver to hear

"Yes I do! So miss where would you like to go?" He says as he closes the trunk

"I'm new to Korea, so to a nice hotel please, somewhere not too expensive" you say

"Ok I will take you to a nice hotel miss, No worries" he says as he opens the door for me to enter

"Thank you" you say with a big smile and enter the car

The taxi driver hurries over to the driver side of the taxi gets in and starts the car.

On the way to the hotel the drive was silent.

"Ok miss we are here" the driver says as he parks the car and gets out
