Eve's POV:
I walk into my sisters house and sit on the couch. Emily walks in with two wine glasses. "Um I'm not old enough to drink yet." She smiles and grabs some sparkling grape juice. "I have a replacement for that. It's not alcoholic so it won't be a problem." I nod and she pours the drinks. "So Eve how has it been for you?" I take a sip of the juice and I think. I wasn't sure how to tell her. "Well as you know mom took me to see a doctor. Well after you left and we lost contact I kept going. It was about 3 years ago when I remembered quite a lot, then I kept going for about 4 years now. It's been a while but I have been trying." She smiles at me and takes a drink. "Well it's good that you have been getting better." I smile and look at the ground. "You know I was meaning to see you for a while now. I-I never thought that you would accept me back in your life. I wasn't sure you remembered me at all." I started to tear up and cry. "I really was meaning to and I should have." She started to tear up and she gave a a hug. I just let it all out when she hugged me. She started crying too and I didn't know why. "Eve it's partly my fault too. I should have called or came to see you myself. I pushed everyone out and I pushed you away years before. I'm so sorry I left you on your own and you had to got through all of this." After about another hour we finish our conversation and I say bye and get in the car. "Sorry I had you wait here this long mom." She smiles at me. "It's ok dear I'm just glad everything is ok with you two." She smiles and I was about to start the car when something happened. I started to freak out and I honked the horn and Emily ran out. I got out of the car in panic and in tears. "Emily it's mom she passed out and I can't help her. I can't drive like this and I need to take her to the hospital." Emily grabs the keys and I move to the back seat. She turns on the hazard lights and speeds to the hospital. She called 911 on our way there. They sent a car to escort us to the hospital. Once we got there they were ready and took her in. I was terrified and upset cause I had been caring for her. Emily took me and her to the waiting room. We sat down and I didn't speak the whole time. What seemed like hours had passed they came out. "Ladies your mother is um well I'm so sorry, but there is nothing we can do. If you want to say your last goodbyes you may." I sit back down and break into tears. Emily sits down with me and she rejects the offer. She drives me back to her place and I stay there. I had never had pain that bad in my life.
