Heather's POV:
Eve was always the little helper. She would always try and help in anyway she could. But when she was in 4th grade she started forgetting things. They were little things but she would forget. She was the one in the family that had a good memory. So we found it weird that she would forget things. But let's start back where we were pushed out of the hospital room. After a while they came and told me that Mathew had passed. I started crying and Emily knew what was going on. Emily at the time was around 12 years old. Maybe it was 14 I'm not sure which one. Eve was about 5 years old. She didn't know what happened. That's when the nurse left so I could tell them. I walked over and took both their hands. "Girls your father will not come home tonight." Poor Eve was so confused. "Why not mum he needs to come home." I just smiled at her. "Well he is going somewhere else. Somewhere nice and peaceful. Your father will not be with us any longer." That's when Emily had a break down.

Eve's POV:
Emily's breakdown lets see. She was going toward our mother. She was so mad at what had happened. She then yanked her hand back out of mothers grasp. "Honey is everything ok?" Emily had a lot of anger in her eyes. "NO! YOU SAID FATHER WOULD BE FINE! HE IS DEAD MUM HE IS NEVER COMING BACK!" There were people that would look at them. I just sat there and watched. "Honey I really thought things would end differently." Emily just started swinging at mother. That's when I ran over and grabbed Emily's arms and yelled at her. "Emily stop what you are doing why are you even fighting." Emily looked at me and had a look on her face. It wasn't hatred or sadness. It was more like she couldn't feel anything at the moment. "No really why are you two fighting?" Emily then looked shocked. She went from no emotion to surprise. "You don't know why I'm mad?" That's when I shook my head. I was so confused at that moment. "Mum why are we here?" She just looked at me shocked. "No reason sweetheart." She then took us and we left. One of the nurses was nice and took us home. Mum had to give her directions. We got home and I went to bed. I was really tired after the long day. My mother then takes Emily and sits her down. "Why is she not remembering some things? She is the one in this family with the best memory." Emily shrugged not knowing why. "I don't know why but I'm tired. I'm going to bed see you tomorrow." After that night we went to school. I didn't remember anything we did the day before. Then there was times where right after the teacher explained something I would forget. That's when the bullying started. Well for one onto me not remembering things my eyes were not the same color. My right eye was blue and green. I mean like half blue and half green. It was really weird to other kids. The doctors just said it was something they had never seen before. But the kids in my class would call me air brain or air head. It got worse as I got older. I was in 4th grade and I was forgetting more. My teacher even sent a note home. It said : Dear Mrs. karns, Eve is having a hard time remembering what we do in class. I am aware of the things at home, but if you could help her that would be wonderful. She needs help on memory. With lots of thanks,
                             Mrs. Miller
My mother didn't know why I would forget so much either. That was until I came home one day and was so confused. I walked into my home and looked around. I was so confused at what I was looking at. My mum walked out and welcomed me home. "Who are you? Why are you welcoming me here?" The hurt look on her face hurt. "I'm your mother and you are my child." I was more confused and scared. She sat me down and we talked. I told her I believe her I just don't remember her. She looked at me as my sister walked out. "Mom why does she not remember you?" Mother just looked at her not sure why. She kept me home a few years until my friends were able to come over. Amber, Josh, and April came over. She invited them and their parents over to see if I remember them. April was the first to walk over. She was shy and she loved her friends. She walked over and was tearing up. "Hey Eve do you remember me?" I look at her and see her crying. I just looked at her and shook my head slowly. She started to cry and walked back. I did the same with Amber and Josh. I was 14 when she finally took me to the doctor.
