I opened the card and read it.

Hey Zen. I know we don't really know each other but I just wanted to wish you luck and I hope you feel better! -Cy.

I put down the card and thought about him for awhile... until somebody disturbed my peace. "Hey babe I'm back. I got you a burger and some fries. Is that ok?.... babe?..... babe!.... ZEN!?"
Aiko yelled. "What?... sorry I was day dreaming" I replied. "About what babe? Was it about how amazing I am?" She said with a smirk. "No". "Then what was it about?!". "Don't worry about it"

Cy's POV

I woke up in a boring white room. It was cold, bright, and there was beeping noises. I felt something on my face like... a mask.... I ripped it off and realized it was a oxygen mask. "Hello!?" I yelled. I'm in the hospital...

The big wooden door creaked open. "Hi , I'm doctor revin. How are you feeling son?" A about thirty year old looking man, well doctor asked me. I just stared at him speechless not knowing how I got here. "Your um..." he checked his clipboard. "...dad brought you here. He said a wall fell on you. Is that true son?" The man asked. I wanted to tell him that I remember him beating me till I couldn't see nor breath but i know my dad would hate me even more and I would get put into foster care so I just said that I really did get crushed by a wall and I told him it was on fire cause my aunts house was burning down. I wanted to laugh cause I don't even have a aunt that's alive. All of my family is either dead or they don't know I exist. "You have severe wounds on your back that will cause you to have trouble walking for a few weeks so don't worry when you walk and feel like your backs falling apart. I know it hurts but try to stay calm when it happens" I panicked but then took his word and nodded a ok.

The doctor sat me in a wheel chair so I could get out of my boring room for a little while and stroll around the hospital. When I got out of my room I looked at the door next to my room door. I read the name and whispered it while I read. "zen hankatu"... wait. ZEN!?!?! His door opened and a middle schooler that I know, Aiko Crosby, walked out of Zen's room. What was she doing in there?!? She death stared me then asked "what are you doing here?" "Um wondering why your in Zen's room?" I replied. "Because I'm his girlfriend, lame brain" what kind of insult is lame brain? That's just... not even... it's just terrible. "Well can I see him? He's a good friend of mine" I asked. She gave a annoyed nod and let me in as she walked away. Zen was lying in his bed as I wheeled myself to his bed side. "CY, what are you doing here?!" He asked with a big smile on his face. " and... why are you in a wheel chair? Are you okay?!!" He asked frowning a bit. "I'm okay. Just a burning wall fell on me. I chuckled a bit. He gave a weak smile. I looked around and realized he was alone. Nobody was visiting him but me right now and it kinda made me nervous. "Soo..." I said awkwardly. "Can you walk?" He asked. I nodded. "Can you sit on my bed with me" he asked shyly. " uh.. um.. o-of co-course" my heart was beating faster than usual. He scooted over and patted the spot next to him as I pulled my frail body onto the bed. We sat there silently, not looking each other in the face, both injured, both blushing. After about a hour I looked at the time and noticed it was midnight. "Hey I think I sho-" I tried saying but then realized Zen was asleep. I felt something touch my hand and looked down to find his hand holding mine. I smiled and closed my eyes then drifted off to sleep...
