Feeling Lost ( Rufio x Jessica )

Chapter 2

I woke up before the boys and I got dressed. Today we are going for a walk. I put on my wolf gloves and hat. I walked out and flew down. "Wake up cubs! Time for breakfast!" I yelled. A glow came down from the tree. "Morning Tink!" I said. I heard the boys coming down from the tree. "Morning Jess! Sleep well?" She asked kindly. I nodded my head. I sat around the new campfire since the fairies were cooking. I stared into the fire. I felt someone sit beside me. It was Rufio. " Morning alpha." He said jokingly. I punched him in the shoulder. He laughed and I smiled.

"Everyone say grace..." Rufio said. I clasped my hands together. "GRACE!" We yelled in union. We all started to dig in.

I finished before the boys and got up. The sun was high in the sky. "Ready for the walk?" Said No Nap. All of he lost boys followed behind and Rufio came up beside me. "Lets go!" I said, pointing to the trail. Rufio walked beside me and kept on looking around and we kept walking. All of the sudden, we ran into the never beast. All of the boys took a step back, knowing he only liked me. I went up to pet him and he put his big head around my neck like a hug. He started to walk away.

We arrived at mermaid lagoon. Ace put his arm around my shoulder. "Your looking ho-" I took his arm off of me. " you may be my age, but you are a cub to me. " he held his hands up in defense. I walked away from the boys a little and I looked into the water. I touched it and I heard a mans voice.

"You are in danger. Stay close to your friends. If you can't trust anyone, come to the water. I will explain everything."

I quickly removed my hand. I recognized the voice. "Father.." I said "who?" I turned to see Rufio. "Oh...uh... never mind. Let's get back." I said. I walked past him to the lost boys. Time to head back!" I said. They started to walk down the trail and Rufio passed me, talking to some of his friends. I felt a tug in my shirt. I turn d to pockets. " Rufio likes you!" He said, and then scurried off. I laughed but thought at the same time. Rufio can't like me, can he?
