8. Phone call

Mei felt her heart burst as she enters her room

She couldn't take that image in her head. The image of Yoonji's lips againts hers

She definitely wants to do that again

But what does this all mean? Does it mean Yoonji and her are now dating? How will they act in school? Will things get really awkward? What will happen to both of them?

Mei plopped herself on her bed thinking about things

Mei felt delighted yet horrified

She smiled to her self and reached for her lips and touched them

"She kissed me..." Mei still couldnt believe it

Even if it happened. Even if she's aware it couldnt be a dream, she still cant process it

Yoonji held her hand as well

Mei didnt care if they were both of the same gender. Mei thinks no one should care.

She twisted and turn. She definitely wants Yoonji beside her right this moment. Mei knows she will see her tomorrow but that is too long of a wait

It'll be alright

She keeps remembering what Yoonji said. Yes. It will be fine

With Yoonji filling her mind up, she dozed to sleep

Mei walked to school feeling excited to see her one and only.

What should she say? How does she act now?

It was slightly stupid to think that Mei should act differently, but she was just fidgety about all of this

Once she steps foot into the class room she sees Yoonji

Yoonji waved her hands to her, Mei's heart fluttered. She knew very well that wave was meant for her

Mei approached Yoonji with a smile

"H-hey!" Mei blushes making Yoonji cup her cheeks

"Hey Mei" She pulls Mei's face towards hers and plants a kiss on her lips
"I missed you"

Mei bit her bottom lip, trying not to lose her head

"I- I did too" She reaches for Yoonji's hand and held it

"Why are you blushing so hard?" Yoonji said tightening the grip of their hands

"N-nothing..."

Mei didnt even care anymore who saw them. She was just contented with the fact that Yoonji feels the same as she does

She felt Yoonji was defiant at first but that passed

This moment of her life has got to be her happiest

Mei noticed she smiles more, She likes Yoonji's company every second of the day

She's just happy

Yoonji told Mei to meet at their usual spot before Yoonji went ahead

Mei got her stuff all packed and head to the cafeteria

Passing one of the classrooms, she hears a somewhat familiar voice, but different

She halts to listen. As bad as it seems, curiosity got the best of her

"Hyung, I cant keep this act any longer."

"A deal is a deal? A year of this? I lost a damn game. Be more reasonable."

"Yeah Im hella mad. I dont give a shit."

"Im keeping the act because of Mei. If she finds out Im not Yoonji, everything can go down hill."

"Yes I do like her. But I feel like Im hiding myself, Yoongi. Its stupid."

"God fucking dammit Jin-Hyung! Fine. End this call"

Mei was stunned

Yoonji..isnt Yoonji but Yoongi? Isnt that her twin brother? But is that a lie? Yoonji is a he?

'Yoonji' opens the door and she looked at Mei with wide eyes and 'her' facial expression turned lifeless just like they used to be

'She' immediately passed Mei, as if she wasnt there to begin with

Mei felt her heart crush

But I thought he said he loved me

But if Yoonji was Yoongi all along... arent they the same person?

To Mei, it wouldnt be anay different

Yoonji was Yoongi and Yoongi was Yoonji

She fell for one person.

She saw passed everything

She loved what was inside of Yoongi

But then..

Why did he pass her just like that?

Mei was stuck to the ground as she felt herself crumble

Her tears fell, her body shook

What do I do now?

She felt like she coudlnt do anything

Yoongi ignored her.

If Yoonji never existed then is Yoongi really different?

She just wants to be around him

She wiped her tears away. She will tell Yoongi its fine

But if he's still in Yoonji's dress, Mei thinks it will be proper if she doesnt blow his cover then

It perfectly explains why Yoongi hated being around his brothers. It explains alot. Its crystal clear to Mei. Yoongi just need to see Mei wont care if he wasnt Yoonji.

Mei spent her entire lunch looking for Yoongi. He wasnt anywhere.
