9. Hold me tight

When the bell rang, Mei decided to go to her class

She thinks that Yoongi will be in her class since they both have the same schedules

When Mei set foot in her class, she saw him

Their eyes met for a minute, it pained Mei to see him to look away first

She sat beside him but he completely ignored her

This was the time where Yoongi would reach for Mei's hand hold it tight

But none of that happened

To Mei's sorrow, she tried to reach out for his hands but he just took it away before she even touched him

I guess he felt me trying to reach for him....

Mei's heart wilted

She couldnt take this
Mei hated this

She doesnt understand why Yoongi's avoiding her? Why is this happening all of the sudden?

He said he loves me...

-days passed-

Everytime Mei sees Yoongi her heart tightens

She feels like breaking down everytime she sees him.

She missed his touches that warmed her up. His hugs that stuck her broken pieces back together. His lips that envelops her well

She missed those moments where they will go to eachother's houses and snuggle up to eachother making eachother warm

She misses how she had the best naps everytime he's beside him

But does he miss her just like she does? She wonders if he missed her very much

Yeah Mei sees Yoongi everyday, but that doesnt solve her problem

It hurts. It hurts that one moment everything you've ever loved and wanted was just in your arms and later on theyre just simply gone

Mei keeps thinking that maybe she's the only one who's hurting but then why does his eyes look like pain itself once she catches them?

What is scaring Yoongi? Mei isnt running away so why is he?

Cant he see Mei wants him too? Cant he see Mei wants to hold him again?

Was it too difficult to see or does he just brush it all off?

Maybe he just got tired of me..

Mei pursed her lips as she looked at the clock

An hour before school ends

In an hour, she will end it.

She will end her hurt.

She will let him know shes shattered

This sudden avoidance devastates her.

Did she waste days of waiting that maybe Yoongi will make his move?

Should she have done something earlier?

But she was so busy grieving over her lost love

But this time. This time for sure. She will end that

Mei only knew him for almost a month. But what she feels at the moment is real. The time doesnt matter.

Shes wounding. Shes subdued. But most of all, she's inlove

She confirmed it herself. No matter, she really loves Yoongi.

When Mei said it didnt matter whether they were both girls or not, she really meant it.

She guesses that THAT is what being inlove is. Despite everything, you love them over all

-bell rings-

Mei quickly packed her stuff and tried catching up to Yoongi who was already ahead of her

She found that Yoongi takes the back way these days to avoid her

She follows him until it was just the both of them

"Yoonji please wait!" Mei starts to call out

Yoongi looks back and walks faster

Mei jogged and reached out for his arm and put him to halt

"Please Yoongi. Hold on." The change of name startled Yoongi

"What do you want Mei?" His tone was harsh but Mei could tell he was holding back

"Why are we avoiding eachother?" Mei went straight to the point

It was pointless to her to sugar coat anything

"Nothing. Now let me go" Yoongi tried to get off her grip but she just tightens it

Yoongi was stronger than her but he didnt even try

Maybe he did want to talk after all?

"Its not just nothing Yoongi. I know that. So please tell me why" Mei's tone saddened

She was on the verge of crying This was painful

His warmth was stinging her heart

She loosened her grip, afraid of hurting him

"Dont call me that." His tone was angrier

Mei didnt have a choice, even if she was weaker. This just felt like the better choice

She pushed him against the wall and pinned him there

He flinched slightly

"What are you doing?" Yoongi's brows furrowed

Mei kept her head down, she couldnt keep her tears in

She looked up, earning a painful frown from Yoongi

"I hate this. I hate us. I hate that youre avoiding me. I hate you. I hate you for leaving me with no one. But I love you. I love you so why cant you see that?" Despite the lump in Mei's throat, she managed to say her feelings out loud

"I dont care if youre Yoonji or Yoongi. I dont care if youre a girl or a boy. I dont give a shit. I just care about if you still love me or not." Mei continued

She poured her heart out to Yoongi who was clearly taken back to what she said

"It hurts to see you walk by every day. It hurts to see you in general. It hurts when you look at me. Im hurting Yoongi. I just want you to hold me tight again. Please hug me." Mei confessed with a shattered heart

And for a moment.

No one moved. No one said anything. All you can hear was Mei's tiny sobs and trembles

Mei can see it now. Yoongi doesnt love her anymore
