Ch. 10

Recap: After the battle with Alpha Lee's pack, Sage learns from her father that her mother, Alpha Lee's wife and Ms. Tah(her teacher) had been killed. She falls into a deep state of depression until Reese and King Michealo come up with a memorial to help her heart to heal. The memorial works better then planned as Sage finally spoke, she said 'goodbye' to Ms. Tah. Shocking not only her family but herself as well. When asked by her mate if she's going to talk, she plays a little trick on them by make them think she's staying mute but she's not. Now that she's talking again her father thinks it's a great time to celebrate with a little vacations to Niagara Falls. 

Sage's POV

After my father told us we were going to Niagara Falls everyone rushed off the get a good night's sleep. When we woke up we decided to pack. "Reese what should I pack? I've never really went on vacation..." I trail off with sadness in my voice remember how sad my life was before. "Well according to my phone it's supposed to be warm but also cold winds, so pack cool clothes but protection as well from the winds." I pack some short sleeve shirts and jeans with a few thin jackets. "KIDS! TIME TO LEAVE!" My father yells down the hall for us all to hear him. Reese grabs my bag and my hand, "Shall we?" He asks and I giggle and nod. Once down stairs we meet everyone in the living room. My father hand up our plane tickets and told us it was his private jet, we just need the ticket to get through the airport.

Once the flight to New York was over we all head to a hotel for the night. Rooms were, My father's and my guards shared a room, mine and Reese's room next to them, My father next to us, Max and Zura next, Miles and Josie next and finally Max and Miles guards in the finally room. Not that I really want to have a room next to my father but he said it's for safety, whatever Reese and I can handle our selves.

Reese and I decided to stay in our room for the night and talk about furthering our relationship. I want to be fully mated to him but I want to know him better also. "I want to be with you fully but we hardly know each other and.." "Relax Sage I get it. How about we date for a year and go from there?" "Yeah, that works, so when should our first date be?" "Tomorrow night after the falls, I'll go set it up right now." He gets up off our bed and leaves to hotel room, sigh. Well at least we're getting somewhere in our relationship.

Max' POV

I love it here in New York, It's always so lively and busy. I can tell Zura's not liking the busy city, which is odd seeing as she comes from a big family. I think it's her pregnancy hormones, the baby has grown so much she has a tiny baby bump forming, it's so cute! "Baby, I'm bored just sitting in the room, I'd like to take a walk. How about Time Square?" Wow didn't see that one coming. "Sure thing babe." Maybe a walk is just what she needs to see the beauty in this city.

"It's nice just us, I'm so glad we decided to take this walk." Zura seems to be like it here. "I just don't like the busyness, I've grown up in a big family and I want to live some where calmer with my big family." "For a minute there I though we didn't want a big family but living some place calm might be a good place seeing as our kids will take after me and their uncle Miles. We were trouble makers growing up just ask uncle Michealo to tell you some stories." We continue to talk and walk until we end back at the hotel.

Josie's POV

I've been having nasty morning sickness, mom said it's because I'm a hybrid and I'm having twins. Miles helps as much as he can by rubbing my baby bump, which Dr. Lee said would help calm the twins. When I told my parents about the babies they were over the moon and back happy for Miles and I. "Miles the twins are at it again, tummy rubbin' time." "Alright you two, Mommy doesn't like to be sick. Calm down in their for Daddy." He leans down and plants two kisses on my baby bump then comes up to kiss me.
