I sat on the floor with a maggot chewing on my hair, I called it Edward because he looked like one. Felix wasn't here with me at the moment.
Edward crawled down to my thighs and just stayed there. I looked at the bonsai tree, it seemed to give a mystical glow with the light from the ceiling shining down on it. Credence told me to not to go to the mines because they have to evaluate me or something. The usual screams and groans could be heard outside the room, probably new people being scared of the others.
I pursed my lips as I stood up and paced back and forth around the room with my eyes glued on to the bonsai tree. After an hour attempting to keep my sanity intact due to the screams I dashed outside the room and yelled to the insane people
"WILL YOU SHUT YOUR MOUT- oh God! Sorry, Edward"
I picked up Edward from my feet and placed him on my head. I looked at the frightened people
"As I was saying... WILL YOU SHUT UP!"
They flinched and ran to places they deemed safe. Someone claps slowly and I turned my head to the direction of the sound. Credence stood there with a smirk as he continued clapping. I sighed angrily and went back to the room before slamming the door shut. I leaned my back against the door frame as Edward continued chewing on my hair.

I sat on the cold stone floor of the mines, taking a quick break from my 'job', luckily Edward wanted to come now he was continuously chewing on my hair, I didn't know if he even liked or hated my hair.
The sound of the pickaxes striking the stone pierced my ears, I looked carfully watched the miners who were working tirelessly, sweat glistened from their built bodies as they mined. After a minute of sitting down I stood up and went further into the mines where more people were being held. They looked more dangerous and experienced. They all looked at me as I entered and simultaneously growled at me. I flinched a bit, they chuckled, muttering the words:
"She's new..."
Edward lets out a hiss-like sound, I giggled at that and gently pulled him out of my hair and started stroking him.
"You're so cute aren't you, my little parasite?" I cooed, Edward hisses at the miners again and I watched him crawl back to his throne on my head. I dragged the tip of the whip above the ground as I watched the workers with a bored face, the overseers offered me a mask but I refused it.
"Romeo, Romeo, where the fuck are you?" I muttered mindlessly, the workers looked at me strangely before going back to their jobs. I sighed in boredom as I decided to give the wall a good whipping, the workers flinched at what I did for some strange reason. A burning sensation formed on my arms as I continued to give the poor wall slashes that it didn't deserve.
On second thought, it deserves it.
"She is going insane," one of the miners muttered, a few grunts of confirmation followed. I rolled my eyes and continued whipping the wall harder.

( A/N: Writing this in First Person a bit difficult for me, I'll just switch it to Third Person :) )
After hours spent in the mines, Cassandra finally got out, exhausted. She was surprised that Edward was still nibbling on her hair but he didn't manage to bite off even a single strand.
She walked back to her room, dull sounding footsteps echoed throughout the hallway- as usual, screams and moans could be heard at every room. She dragged her whip across the floor with a look of exhaustion.
"Still going for my hair, aren't you?" Cassandra cooed, she gently grabbed Edward from her hair and started stroking him, the maggot started vibrating which was its version of purring.
Cassandra chuckled and placed Edward back on her hair, she continued walking down the long hallway with the usual screams irritating her ears, she grunted in annoyance and took a detour from a nearby door. She looked around the room and realized it was a room where the aristrocats meet up. She panicked even more when she heard loud footsteps behind the door, she skittered across the floor and hid behind a large gothic cabinet and stood there silently in hopes of not being caught.
The door opens and Cassandra peeked through the holes on the cabinet. Two men along with two women, one having white hair and the other having red, came inside the room, the redhead woman was tied up.
The two men wore the same attire as the others while the woman in white hair was wearing a long black silk robe with purple jewels adorning its edges, while the captured one was wearing revealing clothes which consisted of clothes made out of leaves covering her chest, hips thighs and legs.
"I'll ask you one more time again, Sylvia, where is the Jewel?" The white haired woman asks to the redhead.
"No, I know what you will do with it if I tell you! I know what your purpose of the Jewel is, Daimra" Sylvia replied
"Tregdias! Cliiavia!" Daimra says angrily, both of the men grabbed both sides of Sylvia and their hands glowed purple and veins appeared with the same color on Sylvia. She screams in pain as her eyes rolled to the back of her head.
Meanwhile Cassandra tried her hardest not to shriek or make a sound at the scene happening before her or else she'll be in trouble, Edward started chewing on her hair in a panicked manner.
The torture continued for more than thirty minutes, every part of Sylvia was burned, scratched and bruised. Her breaths were labored and her eyes showed exhaustion.
Cassandra thought what Daimra done was cruel, but who is she to judge? She killed a man so she was in no position to have an opinion. Minutes passed on as Sylvia breathed heavily with her arms, legs and body cut and bleeding. Cassandra silently sat on the floor covering her ears against the pained screams of Sylvia, until it suddenly just stopped after a loud thud.
She must've fainted.
"Bring her head to my room,"
Cassandra almost threw up, she quietly stood up and peeked through the barred window to see Sylvia's head cut off and being held up by Daimra who had a smirk on her face.
"Huh, and you're my sister? Disgusting." Daimra sneered, "Bring her body to the dungeons while I keep her head. Our discussion is still not finished yet, sister."
And with that the three left, carrying the beheaded body of the woman, Cassandra thought it was sick to talk to a beheaded head. But she didn't know that a strange magic was taking place right before her eyes, Sylvia's eyes still kept moving and had the softeness and life in them.
Cassandra hastily but silently ran outside the room and dashed to her's and Felix, where he was tending the the bonsai. He looked up at Cassandra with a smile as he motioned her to come closer.
"What took you so long, dear?" asked Felix, Cassandra couldn't just reply to him about trespassing the aristocratic room and describe what she just saw.
"N-Nothing important to be discussed, Felix" replied Cassandra as she sat down on the cold damp floor. She picked up Edward from her hair and placed it in front of Felix.
"So, how was your day?" chirped Felix, Cassandra bit her lip and forced herself to smile.
"Fine, I guess..."
Cassandra could feel Felix's stare, she looked down and brushed her fingers through her hair and sighed.
"...Don't worry about anything, Felix."
Cassandra felt Felix's hand on her shoulder.
"If you have any problems, don't hesitate to tell me." said Felix in a soft comforting tone, Cassandra gave a small smile to him.
"I'm fine, Felix." replied Cassandra, slowly feeling happy.
"That's my girl." grinned Felix as he ruffled Cassandra's hair, she stood up and laid down on the broken down couch. The sounds of screaming, crying and growling ensued outside. But she didn't care, she was awfully exhausted.
If Sylvia came from outside then Cassandra might have a chance to escape this place, with Felix.
