(y/n) POV
The smile on my face wouldn't leave as I held my scroll, opened to a picture of the two of us. She stood there, beside me, smiling with my arm wrapped around her shoulder. Her green eyes sparkled against the bright sunlight of Vacuo and her head leaned towards my shoulder, I could still remember how her indigo hair tickled against my neck. It was a single moment, frozen in time. This is one of the few pictures we have where it's only just the two of us.
"Someone's not listening to class" I heard beside me. This high pitched and childlike voice could only belong to one person in class.
Reverting back to my straightened, stern, and serious poker face, I turned to the young leader of RWBY. "Oh, and you're listening?"
"Well I never said I was!"
"What's going on here?" Then came into the conversation is her older sister, Yang Xiao Long.
"Can't you guy be quiet!? I'm trying to listen here!" The heiress, Weiss Schnee, argued.
"Yeah, Professor Port is beginning to notice..."said Blake, looking bored as ever. "Can't you guys just send paper messages?" Well now at least she's seems interested and enthusiastic, smirking towards us, the growing commotion.
"Whatever happened to my privacy?" I glared at them, specifically Ruby and Yang with Blake being an added bonus now that she's listening in.
"You can have it back when you show me what you were looking at just now at your scroll!" said the red caped leader.
"What was it anyway?" asked her sister, trying to peer on my scroll as if I didn't close it or change the present picture.
"Well whatever it was sis, it made him smile"
"WHOAH!" reacted the whole team, even Weiss had just given up listening and just joined in with us.
Then, from my side, came my partner "It did? Wow!"
"Is it really that hard to believe that I smiled?" I asked them, but knowing that if I looked at the mirror right now, all I get is a grumpy frown and glare.
"Your face can give Grumpy a run for his money" retorted back by my partner.
"Hey I smile every now and then!"
"Try it now" suggested Ruby as her teammates weren't even hiding the fact that they were staring at me. Of course, the result of their request was an awkward, shaking and forced smile.
"Ugh! That's creepy!" Yang shuddered on her seat "Ruby said smile, not show your teeth to the dentist!"
"Wait, was it a picture of a girl?" asked my partner, ignoring the fact that I was there and just speaking directly to team RWBY.
"I think it was? I saw hair color that wasn't (y/n)'s" answered Ruby as they talked over my back.
"Ohh... then it's probably his girlfriend"
"Dude!" I looked at him, my eyebrows all furrowed and forehead scrunched "No warning that you're gonna tell them while I'M HERE?"
It took the whole team RWBY a few seconds to finally comprehend what they just heard. All of them, having the same faces of shock and disbelief. I turned back at them "Is it that surprising that I have a girlfriend?"
For their answer, all they could do was nod.
Suddenly, someone jumped in the conversation. Behind and above us, another redhead couldn't help herself but ask "So who's your girlfriend?"
