Big Sister

Hey guys it's been a while! A few people have wanted me to do another chapter and with a more recent response I'm gonna try my best!
It's a tad difficult as obviously the show has ended and my passion for it has lacked since, but hey I felt really in the mood for this for some reason!
I'm gonna keep it rather short but still enough to finish it, hope you all enjoy it :)

Karai's POV

Leo and I got back to the lair about ten minutes after Donnie and Raph..and Mikey. They needed to rush him back in order to have a chance at saving him.

The walk with Leo was silent, I was in too much of a shock to say anything and I think Leo was too. He had this sullen look on his face as if he was thinking the worst and this distant look in his eyes.
I decided against saying anything, my trust from my brothers and father has definitely declined. Looking down I let a tear fall, dropping into a puddle below.
Leo flinched, his senses pick up anything, but, of course, stayed silent.

We reached the lair and already Raph was destroying everything in sight; he was trapped in a blind rage.
No doubt when I got there he made a beeline straight for me. Luckily Leo was there to hold him back but that still didn't stop him from taking a grab at me.

"You could've saved him! He is on the verge of death because of you!" He screamed in a distraught rage. "You, I could kill you! You hurt my little brother, you.." he faded off as he slumped off Leo. Tears pricking his eyes, he sent a hateful glare, waiting for me to explain.

"Raph... Leo..." I hesitated, trying to fight back my own tears. I took a breath and shut my eyes. "He saved me, The Shredder was there, and, and he told me to come back because Splinter was the monster and I told him no still, he lunged for Mikey and there was a big fight with us all but Mikey made sure I didn't get hurt but he did and now it's all my fault and I hate myself and I'm really sorry but I know that's not going to cut it but I'm still trying and I love you guys but I know I've dishonoured you and-" I sank to the floor sobbing, unable to finish my apology.

Surprisingly Raph was the first to come up to me. He stayed silent as he embraced me on the floor. I cried into his arms and I could feel his tears dropping on my hair. Leo slowly joined us and we were all sat there crying on the floor.

Until Donnie and my father sprang out the lab.

"He's gonna be okay," Donnie tiredly smiled. "He's resting up at the minute and he'll still be quite fragile but he will be okay for sure."

My father smiled too, but when our eyes met, the smile faded.
"My daughter, a word if you will?"

I forced myself off the ground and shuffled into the dojo, I knew this wasn't going to be good.
I heard my brothers tell Donnie he's amazing as they went to visit Mikey.

Father kneeled down in front of me, looking at me intently. I avoided his gaze when he leant forward and lifted my chin.

"Are you hurt, my child?" He stroked my cheek.

"No, father." I tried to look away again but that didn't work. He cupped my cheek firmer but with more love. I started to cry once more, as crawled into his lap and curled up.
He patted my head and told me things would be okay. I told him what happened on the surface, he seemed to flinch when I said about my mother.

Once I was done crying I prepared myself to be disowned but it never came. I asked him about it but only a loving reply came.

"My daughter, you are from a broken home. The love that has been earned in this household will remain, and will always be more than what you had been given before, no matter the circumstances. Time is of the essence, my child, things happen and things don't happen, but we know time can heal the pain that has been placed upon us. You are part of this family, and nothing will ever change that, Miwa."

I looked him in the eye, mine tearing up again, and nodded. I headed out the dojo and made my way to see Mikey.

I entered the lab and walked over to the bed that was set up. It wasn't much but it was better than the floor.

Mikey was there, sleeping so peacefully it's as if nothing happened. He had a smirk on his face, the playful little dude was always around no matter what. I stroked his cheek and he seemed to stir. Within a few seconds I was staring down at the baby blue eyes that I thought I'd never see again.

He smiled. A rare true smile that only Mikey could generate, I seem to have caught it off him when I returned it.

"Hey, little brother."

It's completed! After however long but it's done! I hope you enjoyed it and I'm sorry if it's not what you were expecting but I tried since the show has ended and like I said it's a tad tricky now.
Anyways thanks for the comments over the time I've been writing, I read them all again and it got me back into it!
I might do a yuri on ice one soon or maybe something totally different but hey ho I'll see!
