Later that evening, I finally said something to Scott, they weren't good words but they were something after all this time..
Marianne: I'm still upset about earlier
Scott: oh c'mon Mari, I was being your brother
Marianne: you do this to me all the time when I talk to a guy! you'll be the reason why I'm alone at the age of Fifty!
Scott: I'll stop when you're Twenty-five
Marianne: well I'm twenty, I'm old enough to do what I want and make mistakes
Scott: Not under my watch
He continued to read his book while I sighed and flipped through the channels. I stopped on channel 2 when I heard Ed Sullivan introduce the Beatles, I started to feel my heart race as their faces appeared on the screen.
Scott: I don't wanna watch this!
Marianne: you're reading your book, Shut up
I tuned out Scott's voice and listened closely to Paul singing.."There were bells on a hill, But I never heard them ringing, No, I never heard them at all, Till there was you..."
I laughed when the "Sorry girls he's married" caption appeared towards John. I think I'm in love with them, each member.
Around 11 at night, I was having trouble falling asleep, maybe because I was still to excited from the performance. Scott was asleep and I was flipping through channels, then a loud knock appeared and I quickly open it to my surprise.
Cynthia: How are you Mari?
Marianne: I'm doing great, I saw their performance and I loved it!
Cynthia: were going out to celebrate, care to join us?
I nodded instantly but then realized I was under Scott's watch. I asked Cyn to hold on a bit and I closed the door. I went into my room and quickly changed to a different outfit, did my hair then went towards Scott's.
Marianne: Scott?
Scott: Mhm?
Marianne: I'm going out
Scott: mkay
I knew he was half asleep but I went off anyways. They were all getting impatient and I joined them immediately..
