~ Reader's POV ~
I've been living here with Raine for about a month or so now, he lets me sleep in the guest room. He treats me like family, which we practically are, you see he used to be a frequent guest at my mansion.I can't believe it's been almost 10 years...
"Hey (Y/N) what do you want for dinner?" Raine's voice pulls me out of my old memories and I smile up at him. "How about (Fav. Food)?" He chuckles, "Still your favorite after all these years." He pinches my cheeks and I swat his hands away, " S-Shut up!" He walks out of the room to start making dinner. After a while of waiting I got to thinking again, but not about Raine. I walk into the kitchen to talk to him, "When are you going to let me go back?" I asked, a frown on my face. "I don't want to getting hurt out there... Especially in the disgusting school filled with vampires." I wince at his angry voice. His eyes widen, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to raise my voice." He grabs my hand and I squeeze it softly. "It's ok..."
After dinner we watch Disney movies. We are currently watching Descendants and Raine puts his arm over my shoulder and I snuggle into his side. By the time we had gotten to Descendants 2 I already found myself curled into his lap. I could hear his heart beat growing faster as I lied my head on his lean yet muscular chest. After The Lion King and Hercules we ended up falling asleep on the couch cuddled together with a cozy Batman blanket over us.
I wake up just before dawn and finally decide to sneak out, "I'm sorry Raine... I love you." I say as I kiss his forehead, grab what little things I need, and make it out of the door.

I'm sorry that this one was quite short but I'll try to make them longer, I just got a lot of school I need to catch up on, I'm been sick and I'm sick now as I type this, I'm getting it checked out with a physiatrist because my parents think it has something to do with my recent bursts in anxiety due to the stresses of high school. I hope you days are having a good year so far... I can't believe it's almost March already.... bye my wonderful readers!
