I make my way across the streets, not quite remembering the way back to town.

Her eyes are glowing red, long raven hair perfectly waving down to her hips. I begin to say something but she stops my protests as I feel a sharp pain in my neck.

"The second my teeth came in contact with your neck, you no longer had an independent life. You are now to rely on my blood, or become a level E."

Author's POV
You looked at the woman kneeled on top of you in shock, laced with fear," Wha-... N-No, Th-That can't... You're a-" She placed her index finger on your chapped lips," A pureblood? Ahahahah!... Well of course, my darling." As she called you darling, you scoffed in disgust," Don't you ever call me that, I don't have to depend on you! Once I get out of here I-"

You coughed and tried to breathe, but you seem to have gotten whip lashed and it takes you a while to recover. Blood drips from your cheek and you realize her nails dug a decent amount into your skin and caused it to break. Wincing, you say," You really gotta stop doing that, lady." She gasps dramatically," Ugh, Lady?! Excuse me sir, don't forget who you're talking to!" You rolled your eyes and deadpanned at her," Right, sorry 'Crazy Woman Who Kidnapped Me And Wants Me To Be Her Pet.'... better?" You finished with a hint of sarcasm. She grumbled loudly and got up from the bed," You know, for someone who just got turned... you don't seem to be fazed much about it!"

You chuckled," Sure, I freaked out for a bit... but what did you expect? A girly scream or cry for help? (Mocks) ooohh nooo, pleaseee heeellpp." -_-

Her eyes flashed red from her anger and she left the room, locking the door securely behind her.
'To new beginnings, I guess...'

Kaname's POV
"It's been weeks, where is he?!"
I shouted at everyone in the Night Class and the committee, we've had to search during class hours as it's been getting longer and longer since we've seen or even heard from y/n. The stress was getting to me, and everyone could see... even people in the Day Class.
Yesterday, I even yelled at one of the girls in the Day Class because she wouldn't leave me alone while I was working on where to go next once classes started... It didn't end well because everyone was staring at me quietly and I just walked away.

Tonight, we plan on checking the farther parts of the town that we haven't checked. We started fanning out into pairs to cover more ground, and I got paired with Ruka by the Headmaster. Zero went with Becca, Aido with Akatsuki, Ichijo with Yuki, Rima with Shiki, etc.

M̲e̲a̲n̲w̲h̲i̲l̲e̲, a̲t̲ t̲h̲e̲ L̲/N̲ H̲o̲u̲s̲e̲
Axel's POV
It's been so long since we've last seen our dear y/n. His mother is devastated, going on about how he must be dead. It's hard to watch, but I'm honestly just as scared...
I gather some of the other staff and decide to take matters into my own hands.

"Alright, I want everyone in groups of at least 3. Make sure no place is left not searched, no door left not knocked, and no person left not interrogated. Got it?!"

A few of the other staff members nod their heads, they know how important the young master is to me.
I call up the headmaster of Cross Academy.
"Sir, we would like to help in the search for y/n." I say to him, determined.
"Axel, is that you? Oh, of course you can help! We need all hands on deck. I'm so worried..."
There's a short pause before he continues, "How is (Mother's name - M/N) holding up?"
He sounds very concerned for her.
"She's... not doing so well, sir."
I hear a sigh on the other end of the phone.
"I figured as much, should I come by and check on her?"
"I think it's best if she is left alone for now, especially if it's you..."
I try to say this as best as I can without offending him. However, I'm not sure it helped, because all I hear is silence and then the little beeps of me being hung up on.

Back to Kaname's POV
We've been searching for about 15 minutes or so, and I'm honestly getting annoyed of Ruka.
"Uhg... what's so important about this y/n boy anyways?"
She scoffs in disgust.
"He's just a stuck up heir to an empire from what I hear."
My eyebrow twitches in anger,
"And you aren't any better?"
I heard her gasp in shock and anger, a slap landing clean on my cheek and she stomps a few feet ahead of me.
It didn't hurt, yet my head stills lays low... what if he's dead? What if I'm too late?
From the corner of my eye, I see Ruka stop. I lift my head up a little to see her looking at me in sadness,
"I'm sorry, Lord Kaname. That was very unladylike of me to do... I didn't know he meant that much to you."
I know she means it, let I can still see a hint of jealously hidden in her eyes.
"Let's just keep looking, alright?..."
I turn away from her and start moving to another area.

Reader's POV
It's been about an hour since she left me in this room, and I was getting really bored.
"HEEY... HEY LADY!!"
No response.
"COME ON MAN, I REALLY GOT TO PEE!"
Nothing... eh, it was worth a shot.
"OK FINE, BUT DON'T BLAME ME IF I GET PISS ON THE BED!"
The door opens.
"Finally, some service."
I roll my eyes.
"For the love of God, shut your damn mouth you filthy pig."
She snarls
"I happen to love pigs, so thank you for the compliment, my lady."
I smirk.
She does not seem amused, go figure... instead, she stomps on over to me and claws up my chest with her sharp nails.
I scream in pain, my shirt ripping and blood pooling down to my stomach. My eyes start flickering a bright red hue and she laughs victoriously.
"Soon you will become a level E, that is if you keep acting like a spoiled brat!"
She spits out her last words like venom. However, I've lost so much blood that I barely even realize that she's speaking. My new fangs start to grow in and despite me knowing full well that I'm chained up, I attempt to swat at her and fail miserably.
She just continues to laugh at me like a mad woman, seeing as she is one.
"Oh my, you're starting to look so gorgeous, I just might eat you up. Ahahahahahah!"
I cringe in disgust and grabs my hair, pulling it up so I'm looking at her in the eyes.
"I can't wait to see poor Kaname's face when he sees what has become of you."
My eyes go wide,
"What? Why Kaname? What's he got to do with this?!"
I start squirming, trying to get out of my restraints. She gets an insane look in her eyes, and her smile starts to resemble that of Jeff the Killer's.
"Oh honey, he's got EVERYTHING to do with this!"
And with that, I black out from the blood loss...
