Chapter Five - Wall Clean Up Duty

2nd P.O.V

"Wall clean-up can't be that bad! I'm sure it'll be fun!" You tried to lighten up the mood but it didn't really help. You sighed in frustration. It wouldn't kill your friends to give it a shot! Sure, cleaning was boring but it'll all be worth it in the end. 

"(Y/N)..." 

"What?"  

"Cleaning is never fun! The hell is wrong with you!?" 

"It can be! YOU just make it boring!"

"It CAN'T be FUN."

"CAN!"

"CAN'T!"

"CAAAN!"

"C A N ' T."

"JEAN, I SWEAR. I WILL SMACK YOU WITH MY BROOM!" You hissed as you came close to pulling out your broom. Fortunately for Jean, Eren finally blew his fuse and started his screaming fest. "COME ON GUYS I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO DO THIS, I WANTED TO DEFEAT TITANS NOT CLEAN, CLEANING ISN'T GOING TO HELP ME GET STRONGER!" You smacked Eren as he groaned in pain.

"Give it a chance you little shit! I'm sure it's not that bad! NOW STOP FUCKING YELLING." 

"YOU'RE YELLING RIGHT NOW!"

"I'M YELLING IN LOWERCASE LETTERS!"

"THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE!"

"IT DOES, YOU'RE JUST TOO MUCH OF A DUMBASS TO UNDERSTAND!"

"Welcome new members! I'm the president of this club, Rico Brzenska. Brace yourselves rookies, you're to be put through the mill." You all stared at the platinum blonde-haired female in front of you. Despite her scary-looking face, she seemed...nice...enough. In front of her were various cleaning supplies, the strong smell of lemons invaded your nostrils. 

"Excuse me what's all this?" You gave Eren an unamused look. 

"Cleaning supplies obviously, I thought you were smart Eren." You bonked Eren on the head lightly as he lightly groaned. 

"It's a standard-issue custodial equipment set, use it with caution." You snorted as Eren's face paled considerably. 

"They're just household cleaning supplies..." He mumbled before fainting and landing in Mikasa's arms. You wiggled your eyebrows at her as she reddened and shook her head. 

"Listen up, as first years you begin here! I want to see these windows sparkle! Make sure to start with the new building and lastly, DO NOT slack off!" With that said and done, Rico left. 

"OH BOY!~ Windows, here I COME!~" You sang as you dashed off into the building. 

"(Y/N)?" 

Why is she looking forward to this...Unless...OH NO!  Everyone screamed as they ran after you.

"(Y/N)!" 

~Inside~

Once inside the building, you quickly began to clean the first couple of windows that came into your sight. Everyone else seemed to be sighing in both relief and frustration, which was a reasonable feeling, I mean cleaning wasn't exactly the best thing in the world. However, it wasn't long before they all joined you, though less enthusiastic.

"Hey (Y/N)?" 

"Hmmm?~" 

"Why are you...so happy all of a sudden?" Eren asks as he continues to clean his window beside you.
