Chapter Thirteen – Addie

I signed those papers and called Nathan the next day for us to meet up. Auntie brought me and wouldn't let me go on my own.

"I see Liam stayed last night." She said and I nodded

"He did."

"You two back together?" she asked me

"No and we were never together." I told her

"Is he staying tonight?" she asked me and I nodded

"He's staying to help me sleep, nothing more nothing less."

"Are you going to tell him about the trial?" she asked me, I've thought about it but I haven't told him

"No. I can't deal with him walking away and he has thinking to do, I don't want him to be with me because of the trial, I want him to be with me because he wants to." we pulled up to a hotel. We were meeting him one of the conference rooms they had.

He greeted me and I handed him the papers and he signed them too.

"So this means that you officially are on our side?" Lalan asks

"Yes."

"Even if it means putting your son in jail for possibly the rest of his life?" Auntie asked and he sighed

"I've come to terms with it. I raised him better than that and his mother would be ashamed of him. I don't know if he's done this before but if he doesn't get put away he's going to do it again." he told me.

"Please don't make me regret this." I told him

"You won't. We need to figure out what charges to file against your parents, Than and then Jason and Lucas."

"Where do we start?" I asked

"Your parents." He told me and pulled out a pen and paper "Tell me what they did."

"My dad's been beating me since I was a kid and until I came back here. My mom just let him. They both knew what was going on with Than and his friends and they would make me keep my mouth shut and they made me move in with him." I told him and he wrote it down

"Lucas and Jason." He was moving on

"They rap ed me usually all three of them at once sometime he would lend me out to them. They beat me and watched Than cut me." I told him and I know what was coming next

"And Than." He said this was the hardest for both of us.

"He's been hitting me since we were together about six months. It wasn't very often at first and then it got worse. He uh, the first time he, did it was for our one year and after that it was more frequent. I was seventeen. I was also seventeen when he started bringing his friends. The first time he brought them over was the first time he cut me. He also brought another guy in."

"Why aren't you filing charges against this other guy?" he asked

"Than didn't know I was getting kits done, he brought the other guy in and told him I was into sleeping with someone else while he watched. He told me I was a whore and that this other guy would prove it. He took pictures too"

"What's his name?" Nathan asked

"Alex Felton." I said

"The one that works in my office?" he asked and I nodded
