Chapter Six:
"Wake up!" Jake said while ripping the covers off my body.
I quickly wiped my face, hoping to erase the tear tracks on my cheeks, but even if i did manage to do that my red eyes would give it away.
"What?" I mumbled quietly, not daring to look up, even though i knew i should.
"Did wittle ol' Margaret finally make a fwiend?" He asked in a high-pitched annoying baby voice. More like a witchs voice.
I looked up at him and gathered the courage to tell him off. "Why dont you shut the fuck up for once and go shove a cactus up your ass, so then maybe you will mind your own damn buisness!"
The look on his face wasnt what i was expecting. Instead of seeing anger or a bewildered expression, i saw a look that said "finally!" I cocked my head to the side trying to understand what is going on in that thick head of his.
"Finally the bitch learns! I've been waiting my whole life for you to finally stick up for yourself! I used to think that'll be the day when pigs fly, but i aint see no pigs flyin', so what happened?"
"I've had enough," was all i said, still confused.
"Good good, tomorrow will be a new day, Ima take you to out back to the bar and you are going to have to get into a fight and prove yourself that you are tough! If you fail though, you know whatll happen.. anyway want some ice cream?"
"Da Fuq are you talking about? 'Want some ice cream?' my ass. This is all just an act, you cant just do that! One day youre yelling at me and saying im such a disgrace and the next youre asking me if i want ice cream! And by the way I will never, ever in a million years do what you say!" I shouted while jumping off the bed and heading towards the door.
"I dont give a damn if you dont want ice cream, more for me, but you WILL do what i say. By tommorow you better be ready to win a fight!" He said before pushing my out of the way and heading downstairs.
No way in hell am i going to start a fight and if by any chance i do, i am going to lose big time.
