-Lacey-

The smoke felt extraordinary as it filled up my mouth and burned my throat, releasing it was better.

But then I noticed how the man in the back was still staring at me, what was his name again?

Him? Austin Carlile, his sings for Of Mice & Men. My cousin’s, Oli, voice trailed in my head. When he said it, he sounded skeptical, I can understand, I think he noticed how he didn’t keep his eyes off of me.

And for some reason, that gave me my confidence. The giddy feeling that warmed up my body in excitement, I knew I didn’t have anything on me so he was staring at me for a good reason.

It brought me back to when I was 16.

he parked his car in front of me, this was my first. Rolling down the window, my palms sweat and my hands trembled, mind racing in fear. He was dark and handsome, but demanding and cruel. Then he..

I bit my lip, shaking my head to get rid of the thought. I’m not going to let that ruin this moment. Because I wanted him tonight.

Austin was also dark and handsome, dark brown hair that was combed, scruff and a mustache that outline his chin and framed his face perfectly. A huge grin that was blinding and contagious, causing myself to smile instantly. He was beautiful, from his long legs in those skinny jeans to the creases his eyes got from his smile.

We made eye contact again and as a blonde walked away, I stood up and made my way towards him. It was like I was hypnotized, I couldn’t help myself, I needed to get close to him so I let my legs take control.

"You know, staring like that could either get you the smiles like I’ve been giving or a restraining order." I teased when I got close to him and his couch.

He looked amused and he chuckled. “Well, thank god for those smiles.” He scouted over and patted the seat next to him, I gladly joined him.

"I think Oli already told you, but I’m Austin." He said and held out a large hand.

"Lacey." I smiled and shook it.

He nodded and smiled back of course. “So, Lacey, what brings you here?”

"Couldn’t miss out on a good party." I laughed.

"Sitting at home and spotted this bus out of nowhere?" He teased.

"Something like that." I winked.

He smiled, and I could tell this conversation wasn’t going anywhere, to be honest, all I wanted to do was sit and smile at him. But there was something I wanted more.

I reached over and started to play with the collar of his black jacket, making eye contact again. “You wouldn’t want to get out of here, would you? It’s getting pretty crowded.”

Which actually was a lie, you could easily walk around and dance, everyone was more on sides but what I wanted wasn’t something you do in public.

And if that grin could’ve of gotten any bigger, he did it. “Of course.”

He took the hand on his collar and intertwined it with his, I looked over to see what Oli was doing and saw him and Hannah going at it again. I couldn’t blame them, their bus was packed with people partying when all they wanted to do was be together for their last night.

That was why we were here, he wanted her to spend the night since they kicked off the tour in town, she wanted me to tag alone and he never seems to mind anyways.

He said good bye to a few people while we made our way out, I was nervous someone might stop us. There were plenty of small, gorgeous woman on this bus and he’s taking me?

I need to stop thinking like that.

Cold, refreshing air hit my face and made me relax, gave me chills I needed. It felt good, but not as good as the warmth his hand gave me, his palm was so soft and for awhile, his thumb was stroking the back of my hand.

It was late, pitch black out and suddenly I got a heavy feeling in my stomach that this was a dumb idea. I asked a man, that I only know his name, if he really wanted to get out of here? Where we going to go? I didn’t even had a place to stay, but he must have right? He was touring with him, did his band have a bus? Another dumb question, obviously they did. So, was that where we we’re going?

But what I am I freaking out about? I’ve done this before, got away from this before.

"You’re not fucking leaving." the stranger demanded, this was the first that didn’t allow me to leave. I pulled up my dress. "You know the deal, I come, we stay and then I leave right after. You pay your bill to him and I get to go."

"Well, what if I want you longer?" He asked, pushing himself closer on the bed.

I stood up, fear building up. "I never stay and thats the deal."

"Come on, one time won’t kill you." It might, I thought.

"No. Have a good night." I said while opening the door.

He jumped up, ran and smacked the door closed. “Did you fucking not hear me? You’re not fucking leaving.”

I was lucky, one shot and he was down.

I gasped a little and flinched when I jumped out of my flashback. Swallowing, I looked up and saw that he was already staring at me.

"You okay?" He asked, coming to a stop.

"Yeah, yeah. Sorry, I just thinking of something." I reassured with a smile.

He gave me a smile back. “Come on.” He pulled open a door to a bus, I didn’t even notice we were close to one.

The stairs pulled out as the door open, he climbed up first and I followed. He lead me to the back, in the hall of the bunk room and in front of the back lounge. “Where would you like to go?”

"Which ones yours?" I asked, pointing my finger around.

He took my hand and pointed to the bottom one beside me.

"The tighter the better." I winked.

"In this case, yes. We can be closer." He smiled.
