"IN LOVING MEMORY of Lilinoe Arden may she rest in peace," That marked the ending of the funeral. Very few people were there but the people that hadn't come sent there condolences.
Dylan, her husband stood well away, he didn't want anyone to see him cry. He never did.
Lilinoe's little sister stood at the very front with both Chin and Kono. They'd be taking Chloe in as a favour for Lilinoe, that they'd promised a little while ago.
Steve and Danny were next, neither spoke of did anything they just stood there with sad expressions.
The other few people were a couple people she met while being a part of the Five 0. Everyone stood with strong faces but the sadness was overwhelmingly taking over.
Once everyone had left including Chloe, Chin and Kono. Dylan stood in front of her just buried grave and with sad smile he whispered.
"You go, I go with you. You ride, I ride with you. If you die, I die with you."
A clap from behind him startled him as he wiped away the tears. There stood an unfamiliar man with a small smile on his face. "Dylan Arden?"
Dylan nods with a small feeling in his but this wasn't going to end well. "Well your little mantra is about to come true." The man said cocking his gun at Dylan.
"Wait, wh-" Dylan was cut off by the sound of a gunshot and darkness overwhelming him.
Both Steve and Danny had heard the gun-shot and ran to see what happened. There lay Dylan Arden, dead. Right on top of the freshly buried body and coffin of his outstretched dead wife.
"Dylan!" Steve shouted running over to him and checking for a pulse. There was no sign of feeling of his heart beat. Danny took his gun from the waistband of his trousers.
The man who killed Dylan was long gone.

"McGarrett! What the hell happened!?" Grover shouted at Steve with an angry expression masking the sadness.
They were stood at Lilinoe's grave again but this time it wasn't for her. Lilinoe's beloved husband was shot and murdered in cold blood. The worst thing about it was it was right at her grave where she'd just been buried.
"Me and Danny were just about to leave when we heard the gunshot, the gunshot that killed Dylan.When we got here it was too late and whoever killed him was long gone." Steve explained to Grover with a heavy heart.
He didn't respond. Both men looked across from where they were standing and saw the body bag being zipped up and placed on a stretcher. Where it would soon get examined.
Kono and Chin watched from distance with a sobbing Chloe. The man who'd after like a father to her for so many years was gone and so was her sister, her beautiful parent figures were left and here Chloe is trying to make sense of it.
Why them? Who was next?
I guess we all know everything happens for a reason but what reason exactly?
