(I decided to re-write this chapter because I felt as though it was a big ass let down and I happened to be right ^^ this however means there's gonna be a few loose ends to tie up)
You sit there for a while staring at the corpse of Natsuki's dad. Natsuki shakily puts the weapon aside, an overwhelming sense of dread lingers heavily in the air. For a moment, you both say nothing. A cold aesthetic consistently hangs around you both as blood pools and eventually seeps into the floorboards.
"This is it, huh?" She begins. "The end." The hilo sirens of police vehicles echo around the area.
"Natsuki... I l-love you..." You weakly tremble.
"You don't have to." She blankly states. The police sirens grow louder, before coming to a stop.
"...But I love you too." She finishes.
...
Natsuki was apprehended by the authorities, her last words to you were something about seeing you again sometime. And the bodies, naturally of course, were discovered. She was sentenced to capital punishment, and was only given barely an hours notice before she was executed by hanging under state law. You found out quite a while later and fell into an unfathomable depression. The gravity of the situation set in hard as you realised you would...
Never hold her hand,
Never hear her laugh and
Never make her smile ever again.
You attempted suicide multiple times, all of which somehow failed. The final straw being when you rediscovered an old photo you took of Natsuki when she fell asleep on your lap a day after you two first confessed your feelings. You successfully ended your life after that. As you kicked the chair away and let yourself strangle to death on the rough, scratchy rope, you could faintly hear Natsuki's cute, soft giggles. a previously warm and welcoming sound had grown cold, so cold.
