I appreciate the little friends:
The ones you don't see all the time,
The ones you don't tend to talk to online,
The ones who make the most of the little time you spend together.
The ones who make you feel at home wherever you happen to be,
The ones who always say hi in passing,
The ones who don't cause you stress or anxiety.
The ones who create stupid little inside jokes with you
that you reference whenever you see each other.
The ones who you don't tell your problems to
but are perfectly happy to hear them.
The ones who give you tiny compliments
even when you don't need any.
The ones with whom you make dozens of fun memories
that are only small, but they all add up.
The ones who make you laugh.
The ones who make you smile.
The ones who make you relax.
You are the salt of my earth,
So thank you.
