AN- I will try to make this as historically accurate as possible but since I lack some facts to base it off of and to fit the story, some things will be a bit off. But since Dave and Junior unfortunately weren't gay for each other (plot twist... they were!!) I'm not really sure that's a big deal anyway.

July 15th, 1986

Junior sat back on the grungy sofa of the studio, and sighed. This was gonna be a long day- Gar and Chris were running late, as usual, and Dave was being a whiny bitch. He hadn't even noticed him come in, he was so busy bitching. Typical! Looking up from the latest issue of Kerrang!, (who brought that in?) he saw Dave glaring at him. He knew what this was about. So did Dave. "Hey." was all that came out of Dave's mouth. "Hey." Some random guitar tech walked in. This was good, Dave wasn't going to throw too many fits in one day if someone was watching. Just as he was about to say more, Junior took the door opening as a chance to escape. He quickly hopped up from the sofa, slipped through the door, and into the hallway. Where to go next? Speed walking past the doors, he found what he was looking for. Finally, the bathroom! He locked the main door's deadbolt and went into the middle stall. The door slammed shut. Now what? He could take it off, discreetly hide it behind the toilet, and on his way home he'd take it with him. No, Dave wasn't stupid. Why'd he get himself into this? To push his buttons. Stupid, stupid. Before he could finish his plan, the deadbolt rattled. Then the whole bathroom echoed with heavy knocking.

"I know you're there, Junior. Open up!" Shit! Thinking fast, he ducked under the plastic wall that separated the stalls on his hands and knees. Fucking disgusting. He quietly latched the door. Then back to his stall, and to the one farthest from the door. Same thing. Now Dave might think they were closed for cleaning if he managed to open the door. Hopefully. Sure enough, he heard muffled yelling and a moment later, a key jiggling. No no no. Fuck, no. Junior climbed onto to toilet seat, hoping that Dave not seeing any feet would get him to leave. The door flew open, along with a pair of Mustaine sneakers. "Piece of shit! I know you're here!" Fuck you, Dave. Now Junior climbed onto the tank. This porcelain better be strong enough, shit. He could hear Dave get down on his knees and look under the doors. "What the..." Yes, this is good. Why don't you just leave, Dave? "I wouldn't have thought you'd be this good at hide and seek, Junior. Don't worry I'm pretty good at it, too."

In what seemed like less than a second, a blur of red hair went beneath the door, and back up. But on the inside of the stall. "Asshole! I knew it!" Junior, in his rush of adrenaline, jumped off the toilet and onto Dave. Dave's head hit the tile floor with an unpleasant crack. "Ow, what the fuck?" Junior slid under the door but in his attempt to stand was taken down by a hand grabbing his ankle. His head hit the sink instead of the floor, which was actually worse. Before he could regain his sight and run out, Dave had the door locked and blocked. "Give it back." "Give what back?" Dave's lip lifted up on one corner. This was bad. "If you didn't know what you wouldn't be avoiding me, huh?" Damn. "Uhh..." "Yeah, I thought so, shithead. Give it back." Junior slowly took his right arm out of the battered denim jacket and leaned against the back of the sink. "Make me." Dave just stood there and laughed. What the fuck?  "You fucking idiot! I could beat your ass if I wanted to, and you want me to make you?" Junior started to slide his other arm out but stopped. "Yeah, make me." Dave frowned in confusion but then began to laugh, again. "You're a sick freak, Ellefson. You want me to beat you up?" Junior stared at the floor. His face was starting to get flushed. "You mean try to beat me up." "Confident, are we? Just give it here and I won't hurt you." Dave was more perplexed than angry, now. Junior was never the one to instigate a fight. He could see the muscles in his back tense. He could also see his cheeks turning a very dark shade of pink. Now Dave was getting slightly worried. Was he seriously going to do something to him? Did he have some sort of attack method prepared? Junior inhaled sharply, ripped the jacket off, and threw it at Dave. Surprised by this, he let himself be pushed aside by Junior and was subsequently hit in the face by the door swinging open. He looked out and saw him running down the hall. But he passed the studio door, and the weird room with no lights where they kept all their other gear, and instead went out the front door, colliding with a hungover Chris and Gar. And for once, Dave had no explanation for what had just happened.
