Seven wasn't even thinking when she jumped in front of Dr. Park. She pulled her by the arm and stood protectively in front of her. Seven knew she would have to protect her at all costs. Dr. Park was important and she couldn't have The Blue Wings take them away.
An alarm blares loudly through the hallways, creating echoes that rang through Seven's ears. A sickening sentence was heard through the hallways.
"THE BLUE WINGS HAVE INFILTRATED. KAIROS IS IN THE BUILDING."
Seven clicked her tongue annoyingly, looking over her shoulder at Dr. Park. "Still low and stick behind me."
"How did you get in here?" Zero asked.
The stranger smirked at him. "My only orders were to take Operative Seven alive, but I know High Priestess will be happy to analyze the only member of a new class."
"You'd have to be able to capture me first," Zero cockily replied.
Seven rolled her eyes at him. "You'd have to kill me because you get to him. Wait—didn't you say you needed me alive? Oops."
The stranger charged up his gun to aim at Zero, but Zero easily dodged the charge. The ray eventually hit the wall somewhere behind them.
"This would go down much easier if you don't fight," the stranger said.
Zero rushed forward and swung his fist at the intruder, who hopped away. The intruder threw something at their feet. Zero, Seven, and Dr. Park jumped away from the device. Seven dragged Dr. Park away and shielded her from the incoming blast.
There was no blast, but a ray of light. Seven frantically looked up to see the intruder running away.
"Fucking dickbag," she hissed. She stared back forth between Dr. Park, the intruder, and Zero, weighing her choices down.
