A/N: I owe it all to Olly Murs for helping me through this chapter. Without his songs helping me through my writers block, I highly doubt this would of ever been finished. I hope you all like it. And oh, The song Is called A Team by Ed Sheeran if you were wondering. Feedback is greatly appreciated :D
Previously: “Holy crap.” I muttered. The worst thing about being on this roof was that there were no railings.
“I know.” Jensen replied. He started walking closer to the edge of the building.
“Jensen! What are you doing?” I shrieked, as I saw him go further towards the edge.
“Showing you something. Just trust me, okay?”
And then he flung himself over the edge.
XX
“JENSEN!” I screamed. He just jumped off a friggen building! Who does that? I got down on my hands and knees and crawled closer to the edge. I was scared to look over, knowing what I would see. Trust him? Trust him to what? Kill himself? I peered over the edge, preparing myself to see him bloody and broken on the ground. All I saw was darkness.
“Might not want to get to close to the edge, you might fall off.”
I jumped when I heard the familiar voice, and tumbled over the edge. I felt the cold air slap my face as I fell toward the ground. I’m going to die, I’m going to die.Just before I hit the ground, I felt warm arms form around me.
“I told you not to get to close the edge, Jensen laughed. I opened my eyes and glared at him.
“If someone didn’t jump off the edge, I wouldn’t of been freaking out and leaning over! Wait, how are you even-” It was then when I realized we were not on the ground. We were flying. Jensen could fly.
“This is all a dream. Or I’m dead. I fell off the building, and now I’m dead. I’m not actually flying, I’m in heaven.”
“Nope, we are actually flying love.” Jensen stated. I squeezed my eyes shut, and buried my head into his chest.
“Can you please put us back on the ground?” I murmured into his chest. He laughed, and I could feel his arms tighten around me as we flew back to the ground. He set me down on the grass. I stumbled a bit, then collapsed on the ground. Jensen sat down beside me.
“So, that was real then? You can actually fly?” I asked him, after calming myself.
“Yup. Sure can. I also have very advanced hearing, meaning, I can hear things from a far distance away.”
“How is that even possible though? Is there other people who can do it?” I shot at him, pulling the grass out from the ground.
“I’m not exactly sure how, to be honest. My mentor, Clayton, said that we were just born with it. Totally random. And yes, other people have abilities, just different from mine. he replied.
“Different from yours? Like how?”
“They just have different abilities. That’s why I’m here at the school. I’m trying to find people with other abilities.” Jensen answered, the cool air blowing though his hair.
“Why are you looking for the others?” I shivered as the wind started blowing harder. Jensen looked towards the night sky before he answered.
“We’re making a support group for people with abilities. We want them to know they’re not alone.” He explained, but his voice sounded dead, as if he was reading the lines off of a script.
