[I DO NOT OWN GILMORE GIRLS]
This short story is inspired by a Christmas Movie I watched called
A Christmas Prince
(I don't own the movie)

-In this short story, Logan and Rory never dated. They met once at Yale. But were never together. And she had not had any encounters with any Huntzburgers. So all Huntzburger relationships are not involved with Rory in this short story.

---Lorelei Liegh Gilmore-Hayden the third, more known as Rory Gilmore-Hayden, is working as a reporter at the New York Times. She is an intern but she wants to be a reporter; an official staff member.
Jackson Wells is a popular reporter that Rory is interning for, and Rory basically goes over all of his articles and makes some edits, but she ends up rewriting all of Jackson's papers. Everyone thinks Jackson is an amazing writer, but really it's all of Rory's work.
Rory is talking to her intern friends; Sarah, Mike, and Ethan. When Jackson Wells walks by talking to a co-worker, Rory went up to talk to him about his current article.
"Mr. Wells, Mr. Wells. I had to rewrite a part on your piece on Fashion Week, because you wrote in a part that was not implied or said in the interview that Mr. Anderson said...-" Rory tries to say but gets cut off.
"Honestly it's fine. It's fine. You go back, I gotta do something." Jackson says brushing her off and continues to talk to the other person.
Rory sighs and walks back to her friends.
"He needs to treat his interns a lot better. Did you know that your his 17th intern in the past year? I'm still surprised you haven't quit." Sarah says.
"Well, how else am I to become a real reporter. I need this job, and to try to climb this impossibly tall ladder of work status. I need to work my way up to the top. I just gotta start somewhere, and somewhere is here." Rory says.
Ethan was about to speak when someone spoke over the intercom.
"Ms. Gilmore-Hayden, Mrs. Gunderson wants to see you in her office, now please." The women's voice said.
Mike gives her a look, "Good luck."
"Thanks, I'm gonna need it." Rory says as she gets up and heads to the boss's office.
In office....
"Is this about Jackson Wells's piece because I'm really sorry it's just there was an issue an-..." Rory got cut off again.
"No, this is not about Jackson's article. I need you to write a piece for me." Mrs. Gunderson says.
"Why? I'm sorry, I'm not trying to put me under a bus or anything, but why do you want me to write it?" Rory asks confused.
"You are a very talented writer Rory. And you have proved it in the many articles you have rewritten under Jackson's name. But anyway.... Have you heard about the great newspaper empire, HPG?" Her boss asks.
"Well, yeah everyone knows about that empire. But what about it? There isn't story there." Rory says.
"Well, not entirely. The heir to the empire is the story. The biggest playboy and flirt, running off spending daddy dearest's money, and blowing off his responsibilities. His grandfather gives updates to the news about his son's health, after that heart attack months ago; the current CEO Mitchum Huntzburger. Elias Huntzburger tries to prevent the many articles and questions many have about his grandson that's soon-to-be CEO who's still running off doing his own thing around the world." Mrs. Gunderson says.
