She held her phone to her chest waiting for a response from Daisy. Instead of her texting back she came hurting through Chelsey's front door. It was as if she was scrraming, but she wasn't quite there yet. "O.M.G!!! Chelsey! You have a date tonight! We need to get you all dressed up. Out of the overalls, and into a dress!"
"Do i have to wear a dress?" She complained.
"Hey, you asked me to help you. You're wearing a dress."
Chelsey rolled her eyes, "Fine."
"Don't look at me in that tone of voice!" Daisy snapped. They laughed their heads off.
A few minutes later, they were getting her into a red and white polka dotted dress with floral at the bottom. Chelsey didn't like spaghetti straps so she wore a white shawl over it, and put on some red high tops. Before she pulled up a pair of white socks that you could only see the top of.
"Cute!" Daisy screeched. "Go look in the mirror, and I can do you hair.
Chelsey walked over to her full body mirror and dazed at herself. Meanwhile Daisy pulled all of her hair back in two fish tale braids. She flung them over her shoulders. She handed Chelsey a long handled red purse.
Daisy looked astonished in a joking way, "Fantasique! Mwah!" She gave a thinking sort of face, "Mwah, mwah, speaking of mwah... you need lipstick!"
Chelsey turned around, "NO!"
"Yes, here, I think this will do." She held up a red lipstick. She chased Chelsey around the room until she was finally able to get it on her.
Her beautiful freckles and what people considered to be geek glasses blended perfectly with her lips. Her dad walked in.
"Okay, first date rules. No making out, or- ya- know. Next, be home by eight o'clock sharp. You hear me? Last, have a good time." Her dad said coldly.
She walked out the door and got into her truck. She turned up her country music and drove to town.
They met at a nice resturant. When she walked in she locked eyes with Rockator. He didn't seem pleased, looking up and down her. She walked toward him, "Do you not like the dress?"
He slightly smiled, "No. I love it, it looks good on you. I just thought you might be wearing something shorter."
She glared at him, "This is the only dress I have!"
"Let's go sit down." He quickly said.
They sat down. Across the room where a bunch of cool kids. Chelsey got up to use the restroom. As she was walking her could hear the mean teenagers snickering stuff like, "Farm girl, ugly, and doesn't have a chance with him."
While she walked out, she took her hand and slapped it across the back of the most annoying kid's head. She smiled and kept strolling back to Rockator.
They talked and talked for a while. Time went by super fast. Not slow, but fast. It came time for them to leave, so before Chelsey got into her old, huge truck, he spun her around and kissed her smack on her lips. She pulled away. Then, she pulled him against the truck and kissed him to death. They made out under the sunset.
Rockator broke the silence, "It is almost nine. I have to go."
Chelsey jumped back, "Nine!" She scrambled into her truck, "My dad is gonna kill me! Bye. Thanks for a great night. Hope we can do it again sometime!" She drove away in the blink of an eye.
When she got home, she quietly opened the door, hoping her dad wasn't there. To her luck, he wasn't. She walked into the kitchen, so she could make it to her room, but unfortunately ran into her dad.
