Alexander walked home as he sighed. Alexander knew Elizabeth would question him. Alexander just had to tell what happen. Alexander arrived at the house as he walked in and closed the door behind him. "I'm home honey!" Alexander says looking around for Elizabeth. Elizabeth was just upstairs as she heard him. "I'm up here darling!" Elizabeth shouted. Alexander walked upstairs into their bedroom to see Elizabeth. "Hi honey." Alexander says smiling at Elizabeth. Elizabeth smiled as she looked at him back and noticed a big lump/bruise on his head. "What happened to your head Alex?" Elizabeth questioned. Alexander hesitated and said, "Well I'm explain to you what happened. So, I had a debate at work today with Thomas Jefferson and Washington was there to. So we kept yelling and fighting until Thomas punches me in the head and I guess passed out then this morning I woke up to be in Thomas's house. I don't know why. Thomas could have brought me home but I guess he didn't." Elizabeth look disappointed and said, "So you basically lied to me about this on the phone?" Alexander sighed and said, "Yes I did and I am sorry. It's just that I didn't know what to say." Elizabeth for gave that and said, "It's okay. You should lay down and reset that head of yours. You are not going to work today because of that head." Alexander rolls his eyes and said, "Alright, alright." Alexander didn't say anything else after that. Alexander hops in the bed and lays down. Elizabeth smiled and said, "Do you need a ice pack for that?" Alexander looks at Elizabeth and said, "Yes I would love to have one." Elizabeth was being more like a mother to Alexander when he had this kind of stuff. "I'll be back. I'll also call Mr. President that you wouldn't be able to make it today." Elizabeth said. "Okay." Alexander says. Elizabeth gave him the ice pack and called Washington. Alexander closed his eyes and fell to sleep after that.
