Anyone ever got confused whether you should choose your friends wisely or you gotta make friend with anybody? Me too.

But here is the conclusion;
Get to know everyone.
You mustn't judge people based on their appearances, but instead by their personality. Little things matter the most. Once you know them, get close with the ones who give you the positive vibes you need in your life. It might sound cliche, but you need all supports in the world and morale is one of the most important.
Don't make friend with the ones who have money and power but doesn't care a bit about anyone who wouldn't profit them.

Why would you be friend with someone who has $100 dollar cash in their wallet but doesn't even care to give a penny to an orphan selling lemonade in the street but yet they make fun of them? Do you want to be friend with someone who kicks dog in the street? I don't.
