"Two tickets to Paper Hearts please."
"Awww! Nathan! You shouldn't have!"
"But I did... Want any popcorn?"
"Sure, and some Twizzler's."
"Ok, Come on, Theater 11."
Paper Hearts is Skylar's favorite movie. It's a typical story of boy meets girl, fall in love, happy ever after. With a little action in the middle, out of all movies, that's her favorite.

Skylar was staying with Nathan for a bit, after the funeral.
"Did you hear that noise?"
"I have no idea what you are talking about."
Skylar walked outside.
"Mom?"
Skylar's mom was an angel fading away, or floating up I should say...
"Skylar, You have a gift, use it."
"Mom! Where are you going?"
"I'll be fine, I'm going to where I belong. Honey, I love you."
Skylar fell to the ground, and cried.

Skylar stood up while gasping, realizing it was just a dream. She couldn't sleep the rest of the night but she wished she did. She sat there for about an hour, and then started to here some noise coming from downstairs. She sat there for a second to see if she could here what was going on. She heard gun shots, a scream and a door slam. Skylar started uncontrolably shaking, she was terrified, I would be too. She slowly went down stairs, and at the bottom she stepped in some sort of liquid. She looked, it was red. She followed the trail and it led to the coat closet. She opened the door and saw her mom, she checked for her pulse, Nothing. She did CPR, again nothing.
With another parent gone, she ran to Natan's house.
"Nathan, My mom is dead."
"What? What the hell do you mean?"
"My Mom Died!"
"What? How?"
"Shhh, no need to tell the entire world!"
"Ok, Ok, but how did she die?!"
"Some burgalars came into the house, and killed my mom!"
" So that's what happened, now where is the why?"
"How am I supposed to know?"
"Well there has to be a why."
"Not always Nathan, it couldv'e been total accident, but I dont anyone to know, Got It?"
"Fine, but who are you going to stay with, the person you stay with has to know, and your family has to figure it out sooner or later..."
"I know, I know, I just don't want to deal with any of that right now, and I can stay with you.'
"Well my dad is going to have to know."
Nathan's Dad walked in.
"Know what?"
"Dad, Skylar needs a place to stay, her mom, well, um.."
"Nathan don't worry about it, I can tell him."
"TELL ME WHAT?!"
"Mr. Corse, my mom just died about 30 minutes ago.."
"WHAT? How?"
"Ummm Cancer..."
"Your mom had cancer."
"Yes Mr. Corse and if it's okay with you, I would like to keep this a secret for a while, before it spreads."
"That's Fine."
Skylar and Nathan went back to Skylar's house to clean up, and had some Koolaid, after that they went home.

Skylar finally woke up at about 10:00 which was really late in Nathan's family.
She ate breakfeast and headed off, without Nathan, which was strange.
She ended up in a bar, apperently she was trying to meet someone, which is also weird, she has no one to meet.
It turns out Skylar was being controlled...
30 mins. after sitting in the bar, a man sits down at the table.
"Can I help you?"
Skylar had to practiclly scream to talk.
"Should we go to some place quiter?"
"It was your idea to come here.."
*How do I know that*
"True, but i'm starting to regret it."
"Fine, Manhattan Park?"
"Let's go."

"So who are you?"
"I am your protecter."
"I feel like I know you."
"Because you do."
