Autumn

After that night when Axel and I started talking about our expectations at school and the people that we will meet, I am kind of feeling welcome in his world. I don't know if he remembers me though. Whether he remembers me or not, it doesn't matter anymore. Thanks to him I barely get a nightmare that can make me cry all night.

After my class, I went to the rooftop because there are a lot of student at the mess hall. I'm not use to eating in crowded places. I bought my lunch anyway, so I'll just eat here. While I was eating my lunch I heard a voice behind me.

"Hey! Ciara, why are you here?" I look behind me and saw our class representative. "Can I eat with you ?" she asked. I'm wondering why she's here. " Ciara! This is my place here. I eat my lunch here everyday." she said with a smile on her face.

"Uh.. well I'm sorry if I stole your place." I said

"No problem. I wanna eat with you so please sit down." she said

"What is your name? I'm sorry I'm bad with names so yeah.. You are the class representative right ?" I asked.

"Yep! Anyway. You are my friend now so please come here anytime. I'm Elise."

No wonder she's the representative of the class. She's friendly and she's kind as well. I never thought of being her friend though. This school is better than what I expected.

We almost finish lunch when we hear the door opens. I looked at the door to see who opened it.

"Hey! Axel do you want to eat lunch with us?" Elise said as Axel walked towards us.

"Yeah sure. Axel said" I think Elise and Axel are close friends.

"Ciara, if you are wondering Axel is my cousin. " Elise said to me with a jolly smile. No wonder she's kind.

"Hey! Ciara, we can eat our lunch here everyday. You can join us here every afternoon." Axel said. I don't know why his expression are all the same. I can't figure out when he's glad, happy, mad or even when he's sad. He's wearing the same face everyday. I have not seen him smile even a little. We have the same attitude and it's really weird to meet someone who talks like me.

It's time to go home again. Elise and Axel walked with me going home. I like their company. I never thought of having friends that fast. So far my life is better in the city. We went to Axel's city lights place. We killed our time talking about some nonsense things in our lives. Elise is the one who's giving us those silly ideas how to be happy when we are sad. She's just different. She's funny to be with. It's my first time to laugh in those silly Jokes that she made.

Time passed by, we decided to go home. Elise will sleep at Axel's place tonight and she wants me to come by to watch a movie. I declined because I have to study.

I went inside my room, and took a shower. I was cooking when I heard someone knocking at my door. I opened it and saw Elise and Axel standing in front of my doorstep.

"Hello Ciara, I can smell your cooking. Can we come inside?" Elise said as she went straight inside my kitchen.

"Come inside Axel." he went inside without hesitation.

"I'm sorry to intrude, Elise wants to come here and visit you" Axel said with a shy expression in his face.

" no worries. I think she's just hungry" I said. It's not normal for me to talk to other people like this but somehow i feel like I need to live normally, like other people does.

We ate our dinner and watched movies. After that they finally decided to go home and sleep. This is my first time to have friends like them. I don't know if they treat me the same. I will let the night eat my consciousness tonight.
