Chapter 9

A week passed and the obsession over Adrian in school subsided. I was still royally pissed at him but acted civil, because that's the type of person that I am ,unlike him. 

    I walked down the hallway, a few kids were at their lockers getting ready to leave when I saw Eric, again. Ever since Amy's death he's become the biggest perv and jerk, hence his pig like attitude when Adrian first came. 

    Damn there was no other hallway to hide in, I could sure use Ian right now, he'd be sure to scare Eric away, gay guys always do. 

" Looking good Maribelle", he commented as he walked by my locker.

" Thanks," I muttered politely.

Though he may be the biggest pig , I'll still pretend he was a decent human being, as always. But of course he took that as an invitation.

   He leaned against the locker next to mine an said,"do you wanna come over? I can tutor you in math and other subjects as well," he whispered the last part in my ear. I felt like throwing all my organs out.

I plastered on a smile ," As tempting as that sounds I'll have to pass, I have much better things to do."

I started to turn away when he grabbed my waist and spun me around.

" Are you sure ? I can promise you a most amusing and life changing time, you won't regret it."

" I recommend you let me go, I know a few moves that won't allow you to have any type of fun for a very long time ," I replied with a warning.

" hmm maybe you can show me some other moves," he blew into my face.

" let go of her now, unless you'd like a freacking bruise all over your face," Adrian stepped in between us, showing his full height and menace . 

Eric laughed and stepped back," chill dude, we were just havin a good time here, no need to get violent."

" It didn't seem like a good time to me. I advice you to leave her alone and walk away before I do something I'll definitely will not regret."

Eric's face paled and did as he was told. It wouldn't surprise me if smoke came out of Adrian's nose and ears. He was still like marble. I cautiously placed my hand on his arm.

" Adrian, I think we should-"

Before I finished he grabbed my hand and led me out of school. Instead of taking the path home , he took me behind the school and placed me against the wall. He paced furiously in front of me, walked up to a wall and punched the life out of it. I jumped up in surprised, my god.

I walked up to Adrian and tried to calm him down.

" Adrian , Adrian . Hey, look at me . Relax, nothing happened." 

I touched his arm; big mistake. His eyes changed to bloody red and black, taking all the life from them. He growled at me and began to stalk towards me. Shit, what can I do? 

" Adrian stop." he kept walking towards me purposefully.

Fear began to take over me," Adrian please stop.... Adrian STOP!"

My back hit the wall and he towered over me.

" please.." I whispered .

His eyes began to change back and looked down guiltily . He placed his forehead against mine," I'm so sorry Maribelle, I'm so sorry."

His breathing was ragged and  slowly placed his hands besides my head.

" Just the thought that if I wasn't there on time, and he would've done something to you just .... Ahh ugh."
